Content based on Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise seems to be headed to Fortnite, according to a new leak. Over the years, Marvel and Epic Games have had many collaborations, resulting in lots of skins and content being added to Fortnite. Spider-Man has seen many different skins added to the game over the years, including suits from the comics and movies, as well as designs based on the character’s enemies and supporting cast.
Spider-Man is arguably Marvel’s most recognizable hero, and Epic Games has taken advantage of that fact to provide skins based on characters such as Miles Morales, the Green Goblin, MJ, Venom, and more. Despite this, there are still plenty of favorites that have yet to appear in Fortnite, including characters that will appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Villains like Boomerang and Scorpion haven’t had skins yet, though that could change.
Blade Developer Responds to Recent Cancellation Rumors
Marvel’s Blade gets a very small update from developer Arkane Studios in response to rumors that the game may have been canceled by Xbox.
Spider-Man Returns to Fortnite
According to Fortnite leaker HYPEX, more Spider-Man content will be coming to the game during the current season. HYPEX says that they only have confirmation that Spider-Man’s web-shooters are returning, but there is a possibility that the game could also be getting content based on Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The upcoming movie seems to have a lot of potential for new skins, including some characters that have yet to be represented. Spider-Man’s web-shooters were a popular addition to Fortnite, and that alone should make a lot of people happy.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day features a new costume for the hero, and that already seems like the kind of thing that could end up in Fortnite. The new costume is pretty faithful to the classic one that Peter Parker wears in the comics, but Epic Games could find a way to distinguish it from other options that have been released. This could also be a great opportunity for the developers to bring back some existing skins that haven’t been available in a while.
One of the most interesting things about the next MCU movie is that it seems to have a stacked cast of characters. On top of multiple villains, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will feature the Punisher. Jon Bernthal’s take on Frank Castle has yet to receive a skin in Fortnite, and many fans are hoping that will change thanks to the new movie. It remains to be seen whether Epic Games will finally rectify this absence, but there does seem to be a significant demand on social media. The Punisher would arguably fit better in the world of Fortnite than a lot of other Marvel characters, and the timing would make a lot of sense.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to be released in theaters on July 30, so Fortnite fans shouldn’t have to wait too much longer for some answers. Disney and Epic Games have a very close relationship, and that has proven to be a big benefit to Fortnite fans that also love Marvel and Star Wars. Epic Games usually coordinates collaborations pretty closely with Disney, resulting in collaborative skins arriving right around the same time as a new show or movie. This means that there’s a safe bet that new Spider-Man content will arrive around the movie’s release date, if these leaks are accurate.
