Forza Horizon 6 has no shortage of money and XP farming techniques, but one of them in particular may well be considered cheating with how easy it is. An extremely content-heavy game with heaps of post-launch content already planned out, Forza Horizon 6 can’t be completed or “won” just by hoarding a huge amount of resources as early as possible, but that hasn’t stopped some players from trying.
Outside some extremely limited resources, like the Forza Horizon 6 Premium Car Vouchers, the game’s economy is actually incredibly lax. Players are basically inundated with credits and XP for doing just about anything, from taking pictures of cars to driving on new roads. Still, there are ways to optimize this process further than the developer Playground Games might’ve intended. It is perhaps predictable that something like that would happen via the new and improved EventLab feature.

Forza Horizon 6 smashes a major series record while still in its early access period.
Forza Horizon 6 Players Break the Game’s Economy Using Custom Events
Forza Horizon 6 players have figured out the absolute most optimal way of farming in-game credits and XP using custom EventLab maps. Creators like the YouTuber XMBWesley essentially load up custom tracks with a huge number of breakable objects that stack up the driver’s Skill Point multipliers, and wrap the event up with a high credit payout. The method can be optimized further by using specific vehicles with particular Perks, as well as enabling auto-drive features like auto-steering and assisted breaking. The end result is a situation where the game plays itself, and buying Forza Horizon 6‘s most expensive cars becomes trivial after a certain amount of time.

One obvious downside to XMBWesley’s method is that players can’t actually play Forza Horizon 6 while the events run themselves. Players looking to give this method a shot can load up map codes 121 812 769, or 197 337 317, and it takes about 40 minutes for the race to play itself out for a score of about 100,000 credits and a bunch of Skill Points and other goodies like Wheelspins. Note that even though Playground Games may patch this method out at some point, there are other ways to quickly get XP and money in Forza Horizon 6 that are less likely to get the developers’ attention.
Of course, Playground Games has been working with Forza EventLab in mind for years now, and there’s likely no way the team hadn’t expected the player base to figure out a highly efficient way of extracting resources out of custom events. The fact that players can’t enjoy the game while the events run themselves is a pretty big downside in and of itself, and the game doesn’t miss a chance to reward interaction and progression. With that in mind, it’s possible that Playground will prioritize other problems over excessively profitable EventLab farming, like Forza Horizon 6‘s ghost-town Car Meets.

As one of 2026’s best games so far, Forza Horizon 6 is attracting players who might not otherwise have been interested in racing games or car culture at all. This means it’s likely some players will go for less active farming methods like the ones outlined above, rather than actually trying to earn every single Credit they have. EventLab’s flexibility makes this possible, and though it’s within reason that Playground might ban these methods at some point, it arguably just doesn’t detract from the game’s core appeal, and the FOMO-heavy seasonal releases are bound to keep players coming back for more for some time yet.
