Already a legend, the perfect driving organism has become something of a meme since the launch of Forza Horizon 6, one that has broken free and has begun popping up in other spaces.
For the uninitiated, Drivatars in Forza Horizon 6 games are AI-controlled opponents that mimic the driving style and skill of players in the game. They emulate how people drive and can be challenged to a race, giving online players some surprisingly authentic competition on the track. And then there’s Bowie Knife 99, as this Drivatar aims to beat players with pure aggression and unhinged driving. Bowie Knife 99 has been a menace, hunting down players and wiping them out mid-race. So terrifying is the thought of running into Bowie Knife99 that players have begun a quest to hunt down the automobile anarchist and give it a taste of its own medicine.
Even Xbox is aware of Bowie Knife99, and has joined a chorus of players who all share the same opinion: He can’t keep getting away with this! But don’t let that specter discourage you from trying out the game, as Forza Horizon 6 is proving to be one of the best entries in the series. While it doesn’t deviate drastically from the path established in previous games, Forza Horizon 6 still provides plenty of digital dopamine hits while also fixing one of the most annoying aspects of the series.
