Free PS Plus Games for March 2026 Are Officially Available Now

The PlayStation Plus free games for March 2026 are now available to claim across every tier of the service, with this month’s offerings consisting of four titles. One of them has not even been sold on Sony’s digital storefront for a while now, with its PS Plus spotlight being the only way for newcomers to play it.

At the start of the PlayStation 5 cycle in 2020, Sony’s subscription service expanded to include three monthly games instead of two. While larger lineups occur on occasion, they are not the norm, particularly outside major holiday periods. Exceptions do happen, however. One such deviation was observed just last month, with PS Plus subscribers able to claim four instead of three freebies throughout February 2026.

PS Plus Extends Four-Freebie Streak with March Monthly Games

The PS Plus monthly games for March 2026 are officially continuing the bonus freebie pattern as of a few moments ago on March 3, having launched stateside circa 12pm ET, approximately eight hours after going live in Europe. This month’s freebies consist of Monster Hunter Rise, PGA Tour 2K25, Slime Rancher 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road. All four can be claimed across every PS Plus tier until April 6.

TES Online: Gold Road Collection is currently unlisted on the PS Store, but has most recently retailed for $19.99

This month’s haul has a retail value of $147.96, based on the current listed prices of the games included. PGA Tour 2K25 could raise that total to $159.96, although it has been retailing for $57.99 instead of $69.99 on the PlayStation Store since late January 2026. The 17% price difference is not labeled as a discount, and it remains unclear whether the lower price is permanent, particularly as the game’s base price has not changed on other platforms, including the Xbox Store, Nintendo eShop and Steam.

Although TES Online Collection: Gold Road serves as this month’s bonus title, that is not the primary reason it stands out in the lineup. The special edition of the long-running MMORPG has been unlisted from the PS Store since 2025, meaning its unexpected appearance in the latest PS Plus monthly lineup is the only way for newcomers to get their hands on it. It remains available for purchase on both Steam and the Xbox Store, making it unclear why ZeniMax removed it from Sony’s storefront. As its name suggests, the collection includes every TES Online expansion from 2017’s Morrowind through 2024’s Gold Road.

Monster Hunter Rise is the highest-rated title in the March 2026 PS Plus lineup by a meaningful margin, carrying an 87 average on OpenCritic. That score places it in the top 15 best-reviewed games of 2021. PlayStation owners were not among the game’s original audience, as Capcom launched Rise as a timed Switch console exclusive before bringing it to PS4 and PS5 in January 2023, nearly two years later. The gap between its critical placement in 2021 and its reception in 2023 is telling in its own way: 2023 proved to be an exceptionally competitive year for the industry, with Rise‘s 87 rating not even being sufficient to crack OpenCritic’s top 35 that year.

PS Plus Still Offering up to $30 Worth of Discord Nitro Free Access

Separately, the company has been offering Discord Nitro trials to its subscribers since late February, with the offer scaling by tier: Essential and Extra members receive one complimentary month valued at $9.99, while Premium members are eligible to claim three. Although subscription trials of this sort are typically limited to new customers, this particular promo is also available to former Discord Nitro subscribers, provided at least 12 months have passed since their membership lapsed. The relatively generous eligibility criteria are ostensibly part of Discord’s efforts to cushion its ongoing user exodus sparked by its unpopular age verification policies.

March 11 is the next key date for Sony’s subscription service, as that is when the next wave of arrivals to the Extra- and Premium-tier game libraries is expected to be revealed. Six games will leave PS Plus as part of the March 2026 catalog rotation.
