Over seven years after the conclusion of the Game of Thrones TV show, the franchise continues to thrive with regular new releases. The recent announcement confirming Game of Thrones: Rose of the South has given fans something to look forward to.

While Game of Thrones may not have the cultural dominance it had during its original TV run, tons of spin-offs and new titles across different mediums keep it alive and well. The House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms TV spin-offs are some of the franchise’s best work, while there are also some great Game of Thrones video games for players to play and return to the world of Westeros.

Game of Thrones: Conquest Adds Rose of the South Event Gear Set

One of the most popular games in the series is Game of Thrones: Conquest, a mobile game currently hosting the Highgarden Harvest Festival event from November 3 to 27. The developer has announced that during this time, players can obtain the new Rose of the South Gear Set to use in-game. This gear set includes the following notable stats, courtesy of WB Games Boston in its November preview:

  • Ranged Health
  • Ranged Attack
  • Ranged Attack Vs. Players Ranged
  • March Speed Vs. Player
  • Ranged Attack Vs. Player
  • Max March Size Percent
  • Ranged Defense Vs. Player SoP
  • Ranged Attack Vs. Player SoP
  • Ranged Attack Vs. Players Infantry

Throughout the Highgarden Harvest Festival event, players can claim other rewards beyond the new Game of Thrones Rose of the South Gear Set. The event also introduces two new Heroes: Hotpie and Mace Tyrell, plus a new piece of Dragon Gear: Terror of the Tundra. The synopsis for the event is as follows:

The nobility celebrate in opulence at the Highgarden Harvest Festival, spilling wine and igniting romance. For a time, whispers of war and politics are drowned out by the mummer’s tunes. However, some still sow the seeds of discord that they intend to reap once the revelry subsides…

Although it launched in 2017, Game of Thrones: Conquest still releases new events regularly, giving long-time fans a reason to jump back in and keep playing. The game is still extremely popular, with a 4.5/5 rating and over 10 million downloads on the Google Play Store alone. It may not be the biggest-scale Game of Thrones game, but it’s still a great way for fans to return to Westeros while the wait for new content goes on.

It’s a pretty good time for Game of Thrones games. As well as the well-supported mobile titles like Conquest and Legends, there’s also the upcoming real-time strategy game by PlaySide Studios: Game of Thrones: War for Westeros. The RTS title is set to launch in 2027, bringing back iconic characters like Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, and the Night King.
