Genshin Impact has officially unveiled its full slate of banner characters for the second half of Version 6.5, featuring some welcome surprises among the 4-Stars. Introducing the Chronicled Banner in Genshin Impact has paved the way for the developer to organize a schedule of endlessly stacked Event Banners. Version 6.5 is no different in that regard, featuring some of the best that Nod-Krai has to offer. Yet its Chronicled Banner is stacked in its own way.
Version 6.5 features the debut of the Fontaine Chronicled Banner to Genshin Impact, letting players pull from a selection of 5-Stars that all come from Fontaine’s Event Banners. Lyney, Navia, Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Emilie are all present on the banner, though Wriothesley remains conspicuously absent – implying that the warden of Meropide will likely have his own separate banner when Snezhnaya rolls around. Neuvillette, Furina, and Arlecchino are understandable exceptions: the Hydro Sovereign, the former Hydro Archon, and a Fatui Harbinger.

As for the Event Banners, HoYoverse has revealed a lineup of Nefer and Lauma joined by Kirara, Xingqiu, and Jahoda. Given that Jahoda can substitute as a support for Nefer in Genshin Impact, and that Xingqiu and Kirara are both budget options for Lunar-Bloom, the Event Banners in the second half are in perfect harmony. Players new to the game can wish on both the Lauma and Nefer banner, and assemble one of the strongest teams in Genshin Impact. Players with more developed accounts likely already have Lauma and Nefer, or have their sights set on somene else. The second half banner for Version 6.5 will last until the end of the patch on May 20, 2026.
Given that this is their first rerun, Genshin Impact players can expect Nefer and Lauma to have a second one within the next twelve months. If they enjoy Lunar-Bloom gameplay or are fascinated by Nefer’s playstyle, this is the best opportunity for them to obtain the best duo for that particular Lunar Reaction. However, with Stellar Reactions coming with Snezhnaya in Genshin Impact, there may be more exciting things on the horizon.
Version 6.6 is expected to be the capstone for the Hexerei characters of Genshin Impact, with Nicole, Lohen, and Prune all releasing in the same patch. Conversely, Version 6.7 is rumored to introduce Sandrone as a Stellar-Conduct character. With Version 6.7 confirmed as the final patch of Nod-Krai, it will be the last hurrah for the Song of the Welkin Moon: a finale featuring the region’s last zone while also introducing the first character to wield Snezhnaya’s combat mechanic.

While Lunar Reactions will likely continue to be relevant and viable in the next Genshin Impact region, endgame modes such as the Stygian Onslaught, the Spiral Abyss, or the Imaginarium Theater will almost certainly cater to them less in Snezhnaya. As such, Genshin Impact players should spend their pulls on the upcoming banners only if they truly want the Lunar-Bloom characters. Notably for collectors, Version 6.5 offers a free copy of Jahoda via its Flagship Event.
