Goku’s Strongest Super Saiyan Form is Coming To Dragon Ball FighterZ

Released in 2018, Dragon Ball FighterZ is one of the best Dragon Ball video games ever made, if not the absolute best. Over eight years later, FighterZ is still getting support from Bandai Namco through DLC characters. Officially announced at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026, Dragon Ball DAIMA‘s version of adult Goku is joining the fight in his strongest Super Saiyan form: SSJ4. Super Saiyan 4 Goku (DAIMA) will be playable in just a matter of days.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 Officially Releasing in 2027 For PS5, Xbox, & Steam

Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 has officially revealed that Age 1000 is none other than Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.

Along with featuring SSJ4 Goku and his 12 costume colors, Dragon Ball FighterZ‘s DAIMA Pack DLC will also include new stamps and lobby avatars, all based on the amazing Dragon Ball DAIMA anime. The new trailer for Super Saiyan 4 Goku is yet another example of how much Arc System Works clearly knows and loves the series, as SSJ4 Goku looks like he’s come right out of the Dragon Ball DAIMA anime, right down to his monkey-like movements and weight behind each hit.

Super Saiyan 4 Goku (DAIMA) Joins Dragon Ball FighterZ’s Roster

Dragon Ball FighterZ‘s trailer for Super Saiyan 4 Goku starts off with Goku fighting Kid Buu before finally transforming into a Super Saiyan 4, confirming that Goku only started training to unlock the form after his final battle with Majin Buu (and retconning Kakarot‘s reveal that Goku needed Neva’s help to turn SSJ4). Super Saiyan 4 Goku fights exactly like he does in the Dragon Ball DAMIA anime, channeling his inner Great Ape into both his movements and actions.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO Super Limit Breaking NEO Officially Revealed

Super Limit Breaking NEO is single-handedly finally bringing Sparking! ZERO one step closser to becoming the ultimate Dragon Ball video game.

SSJ4 Goku can even pull off his Transcendent Kamehameha, a technique so strong, it shook every world in the Demon Realm. The trailer also features Super Saiyan 4 Goku squaring off against Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta while holding his own, implying he’s much stronger than his Dragon Ball GT counterpart. Along with featuring Super Saiyan 4 Goku, Dragon Ball FighterZ‘s DAIMA Pack comes with stamps of SSJ4 Goku striking a pose, a disgruntled Majin Duu, and a smug Majin Kuu. New lobby avatars include Super Saiyan 4 Goku, Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta, and Panzy.

Goku (SS4, DAIMA) is coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ as DLC on April 22, 2026.
