The community has compared every trailer, screenshot, and other official footage with real-world locations across Florida to recreate Leonida. It’s almost like they are putting together a puzzle after creating all the pieces themselves.
Jason’s Speculated House Location in GTA 6 Could Reveal an Interesting Neighborhood
The interactive State of Leonida map places Jason Duval’s house in the “Key Lento” area, near the southern edge of the map. GTA 6‘s second trailer famously opens with a shot of the protagonist’s house and later provides a wider look at the surrounding area. By comparing those scenes with real-world locations in Florida, fans believe they have identified its exact location. Their geoguessing-style investigation has also led to several interesting theories about the surrounding neighborhood.

The eastern side of the Leonida Keys, known as Key Lento, appears to be a quiet, isolated neighborhood far removed from Vice City’s neon lights and glamorous lifestyle. If that theory is correct, Jason and his girlfriend, Lucia, could begin their story in GTA 6 as a financially struggling couple before working their way into the city’s upper circles through crime.
Some fans have also suggested that the game could use this relatively isolated area as a starting location or tutorial zone, introducing players to the new GTA 6 mechanics and characters before opening up the rest of Vice City. The game might even restrict players from exploring other parts of the map during the opening hours before gradually expanding access. However, these theories remain purely speculative and should be taken with a grain of salt.
