A brand-new Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer just dropped, and you don’t need a Netflix subscription to watch it. Since Grand Theft Auto 6 was first announced in 2022, updates on the game have been few and far between. For the longest time, all GTA 6 fans had to go by were the first two trailers released by Rockstar Games, as well as a collection of screenshots that highlighted the various characters that will be featured in the story.
Rockstar and Netflix then blew the door wide open on GTA 6 with an Extended Look, showing off 27 minutes of gameplay. The Extended Look is set to be available on Rockstar’s YouTube channel roughly six hours after it aired on Netflix (around 9pm EST), so those that want to watch the full thing right now will need a Netflix subscription. Those that don’t want to sign up for Netflix or wait for Rockstar to release the Extended Look on its own channel can still check out some fresh, official gameplay through a brand-new teaser trailer that was just released for the game.

Netflix has released the third Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer, and it’s mainly to drive people to the Extended Look that’s now available to watch on the streaming platform. The trailer is 26 seconds long, but gives fans a look at GTA 6 gameplay. It shows Jason and Lucia at a drug deal gone wrong in an apartment complex, driving around the streets of Vice City, riding a jet-ski, interacting with various NPCs, shooting at cop cars, lifting weights, racing dirtbikes, robbing stores, and base jumping. Expanded versions of all these gameplay clips and more are shown off in the Extended Look, but this is still a nice treat for those that want to see GTA 6 gameplay and don’t feel like signing up for Netflix.
Now that fans have been treated to an extended look at the GTA 6 single-player campaign, it will be interesting to see when the next update on the game will be. GTA 6‘s release date is set for November 19, but we still have yet to learn anything about its online multiplayer mode. There are some rumblings that the GTA 6 online multiplayer mode might not come out until 2027, and fans should brace themselves for that possibility, but they shouldn’t get too worried until there is official confirmation from Rockstar.
But as we are now so close to the GTA 6 release date, one has to imagine that the next official update will come sooner rather than later. Rockstar itself has yet to say when the next trailer or Extended Look will come, but rumor has it that there may be some more special presentations like this released on Netflix. GTA 6 fans will have to keep an eye out for more information on that front.
It’s been a chaotic week for Rockstar Games. In the wake of the many GTA 6 gameplay leaks that have flooded the internet, the company has now had the chance to show the game off on its own terms. It’s clear from the Extended Look, and even the brief gameplay shown in the new teaser trailer, that GTA 6 is gearing up to be one of the biggest new releases of all time, and it will be exciting to see how it turns out come November 19.
