Grand Theft Auto Online is celebrating the stoner holiday of 4/20 coming up soon, and the centerpiece of the update is a new mode called Stoner Survival.

Players can look for the “Survival Blip” on the map, and then head to the Senora Desert Trailer Park to kick off the mode, which is available right now. After taking a hit of a jazz cigarette, players will begin to hallucinate as they face waves of aliens, life-sized action figures, wrench-wielding clowns, and big chickens. The mode opens at 4:20 PM each day, and pays out quadruple GTA$ and RP through April 22.

Players who survive five waves will get the Sasquatch outfit and an allotment of $420,000 worth of GTA$. You can check out a teaser for the mode in the video below. The Stoner Survival mode reminds us of the Grass Roots mission from GTA 5 where players get high and fight their hallucinations.

The 4/20 event in GTA Online also includes a free LD Organics t-shirt that players will get simply for logging in now through April 29. Additionally, players can invest in Weed Farm Businesses in GTA Online at a nice discount of 40% off now through April 22.

Additionally, Rockstar reminded fans that they can find peyote plants scattered throughout GTA Online, and ingesting these will transform you into a wild animal until the effects wear off. Another themed promotion for the 4/20 event is that Pizza Delivery jobs will pay out 4X GTA$ and RP through April 22, so you can earn more money as demand for a post-smoke snack kicks in.

Head to Rockstar’s website to learn more about what to expect in the 4/20 event.

In other GTA Online news, Rockstar Games was recently hacked and after Take-Two did not pay the ransom, the group leaked a bunch of information about GTA Online.

Looking further out, GTA 6 is set for release on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game’s marketing campaign is expected to start any time now, so we may see more of it soon.
