Hasbro and The Legend of Zelda fans are being treated to 7.5 inches of Ganondorf with a new action figure release, while new figures representing Princess Zelda and Link from Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom come in at six inches. This new Hasbro x Legend of Zelda action figure collaboration was previously teased, but perhaps some fans are surprised to learn that it’s Tears of the Kingdom instead of Ocarina of Time.
As fans know, the Nintendo Direct in June announced a brand-new Nintendo Switch 2 remake of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, releasing later in 2026. Fans haven’t heard anything official about the game since then, but having a merch tie-in would at least make sense. It’s possible that still happens, but for now, Legends of Zelda fans are being treated to a new official Tears of the Kingdom action figure collection.
Hasbro’s New Legend of Zelda: Heroes of Hyrule Figures
Hasbro has officially revealed its first three Legend of Zelda figures, dubbed the Heroes of Hyrule collection, as part of Comic-Con (via IGN). IGN specifically notes that these three figures are indeed based on their representation in the games Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, not the upcoming live-action Legend of Zelda movie. The Heroes of Hyrule series of action figures is focused on a 6-inch scale, which explains the size of Zelda and Link, with Ganondorf getting extra height added because he’s Ganondorf. Not only does each figure feature articulation expected of a high-end Hasbro set, but it also features all the accessories someone could want, as listed below.
- Ganondorf’s Gloom Sword, Scabbard, Interchangeable Right Hand
- Zelda’s Decayed Master Sword and Interchangeable Right Hand
- Link’s Hylian Shield, Interchangeable Zonai Power Hand, and the Master Sword

Both Link and Zelda will retail at $27.99 each, with Ganondorf coming in slightly higher at $42.99 (presumably because of his extra inch and a half, it would seem). All three Hasbro Legend of Zelda figures will release in Spring 2027, and all of them can be pre-ordered on Hasbro Pulse beginning at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET on July 22:
Legend of Zelda fans can expect more Hasbro figures to be revealed in the future, although the exact extent of the Hasbro x Nintendo partnership has yet to be detailed in full, beyond the confirmation that these are not the only figures. Fans can expect to learn more about this specific set either late this year or in early 2027, ahead of shipping in the Spring. Which means fans can probably expect news on the Ocarina of Time remake sooner than the follow-up to these new Hasbro figures.
In other words, Legend of Zelda fans are eating good. Ocarina of Time is the highest-rated game of all time, and it’s not like BotW/ToTk trail far behind. The Legend of Zelda games are special to many fans, so it would not be surprising to later learn that the upcoming pre-orders shoot through the roof.
