The best weapons in Splatoon Raiders are Primo 5-star weapons, and the best way to farm them is to repeatedly clear dungeons with a high density of high-level Salmonids. The Bottomless Buffet and Lintle Inlet on Super Spicy are two activities that are worth focusing on, as they are both filled with powerful enemies. You can also attempt to farm 5-star weapons in Splatoon Raiders by using a skip to quickly complete Awlmun Den, though results may vary.
Primo 5-star weapons are rare. It can therefore take a while to get the exact weapon you’re after, even when using the best farming strategies.
How to Farm the Best Weapons in Splatoon Raiders
The best way to get Primo 5-star weapons is to focus on dungeons with lots of high-level boss and seasoned Salmonids, as those powerful enemies have a higher chance of dropping good loot than their weaker counterparts. This leaves players with two primary avenues for farming endgame weapons:
Bottomless Buffet
The Bottomless Buffet is an endgame activity that unlocks after beating the campaign and completing the Fischflak Hidden Ruins, the Smoksam Hidden Ruins, and the Myunyere Hidden Ruins with all three tanks. Players will encounter increasingly difficult boss and seasoned Salmonid, at very high densities, as they descend through the Bottomless Buffet, making this a great activity for farming 5-star weapons.
It’s recommended that players identify the hardest Bottomless Buffet floors that they consistently complete and then repeatedly clear those floors. Indeed, 5-star weapons should appear more often as players go deeper, encouraging them to travel as far as possible into the Bottomless Buffet before they start farming.
Super Spicy Raids
Raids on Super Spicy provide another opportunity for farming 5-star weapons, with dungeons like Lintle Inlet, which centers around collecting eggs in order to mine a huge crystal, being particularly good. That dungeon type on Super Spicy gives players access to an essentially unlimited supply of high-level boss and seasoned Salmonids, as they respawn over time. Players who want to farm those dungeons should simply move from small crystal to small crystal, mining each one as they go, until they are ready to end their run.

Awlmun Den
Some players suggest they have had success farming 5-star weapons by repeatedly completing Awlmun Den on Super Spicy, as that dungeon can be cleared extremely quickly with a skip. While this strategy does seem decent for farming materials and Spirhalite Shards, I have not found it particularly useful for getting weapons. That said, here is how to easily perform the skip if you want to give it a try:
- Equip the Speed tank and Jump Bomb gadget.
- Develop the Double Trouble gadget part and equip it to the Jump Bomb.
- Enter Awlmun Den on Super Spicy.
- Swim forward until you are just beneath the platform with the Stingers.
- Press X to call your bot to that position.
- Perform a Bot Hop.
- When you’re in the air, press X (to cause the bot to jump up to you) and perform a midair Bot Hop.
- Use your Jump Bomb gadget twice to get onto the platform with the Stingers.
- Shoot the balloons to destroy the Salmonids.
