How to Gain Rot Actions in Kena Bridge of Spirits

To upgrade most of Kena’s abilities in Kena: Bridge of Spirits, players will need to increase their Rot Level, which, at the same time, upgrades the amount of Rot Actions they can take during combat. And in order to do so, they need to find all the Rot Spirits in the world.

Learn everything about increasing your Rot Levels and Rot Actions with this comprehensive guide, which includes instructions on how to find more Rot Spirits, and the most likely places to meet these new small friends.

Leveling up these skills first in Crimson Desert allows Kliff to survive longer while dealing more damage.

How to Increase Rot Level in Kena: Bridge of Spirits

Rot Levels are linked to how many abilities the main character can learn in Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and to increase them, Kena needs to find all the Rot Spirits hiding on the trail to the Mountain Sanctuary.

To start looking for Rot Spirits, Kena needs to use her Pulse ability (L) and find traces of a small glint in the zone surrounding the pulse’s effect. If players pay attention, the Kena’s Rot Spirits will gather around a zone where there’s a chance that a spirit is waiting.

Some of them will be highlighted as a small ball of purple light, and players only need to approach and interact with them (using X) to acquire them and increase their Rot Level.

Others will be hidden inside Chests, Baskets, or, in some special cases, hidden in interactive objects that can only be activated using Rot Actions. For example: Lifting a stone to reveal a Rot Spirit trapped below. So players will need to move around the map a lot.

So basically, what players need to do is go around using Kena’s pulse to highlight any interactive object, container, or hidden spirit to collect them and increase their Rot Levels.

Genshin Impact: How To Raise Friendship Level

Every party member in Genshin Impact has a Friendship level that can be increased to obtain special unlockable items such as nameplates.

This will also unlock new abilities that players can purchase in the Ability Menu (-) using Karma. Additionally, every few Rot Levels earned, Kena will gain more Rot Actions:

  • Level 1: Requires finding 5 Rot spirits.
  • Level 2: Requires finding 15 Rot spirits.
  • Level 3: Requires finding 35 Rot spirits.
  • Level 4: Requires finding 65 Rot spirits.

And the total amount of Rot Spirits to be found is 100. Though the maximum Rot Level Kenna can reach is 4. At the same time, there are certain abilities that increase the Rot Actions Kena can perform during combat, so unlocking them is a must to increase her powers and ability to survive the hardest encounters in the game.
