How To Pack-A-Punch On Paradox Junction In CoD: Black Ops 7 Zombies

Season 2 Reloaded is live in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, bringing the brand-new Paradox Junction map to Zombies mode. This is a traditional round-based map set on Treyarch’s iconic Nuketown map. In this guide, we’ll explain how to use the truck keys, move the destroyed truck, and disrupt the temporal storm to reach the Pack-a-Punch machine on Paradox Junction.

Normally, Black Ops 7’s Zombies maps hold your hand and guide you through unlocking the first few quest steps and reaching the Pack-a-Punch machine. This guidance works differently for Paradox Junction, as the quest markers seemingly disappear and leave you with a task you can’t complete.

Paradox Junction’s first objective marker leads you through a door behind the yellow house, and it guides you to a dead body with a set of keys. Picking up the keys then tasks you with a new objective: Move the destroyed truck by jumping to the past.

How to move the truck

There are no further objective markers, and if you’re like me, you might be intentionally keeping a zombie alive to search the map for clues on how to progress your quest. However, you can’t actually do anything else until you complete a special round of zombies.

Special rounds in Paradox Junction feature Rad-Hounds, which are toxic hellhounds similar to the Plague-Hounds from Black Ops Cold War. Your first special round can occur somewhere between rounds 5-7. Survive the horde of Rad-Hounds to get transported to a past version of Nuketown where the map isn’t destroyed.

In this version of the map, the truck isn’t destroyed. Interact with it to use the keys and move it. Now, you can progress into a new area of the map.

How to unlock Pack-a-Punch

Moving the truck lets you reach the Pack-a-Punch area of the map, but you’ll need to complete one more quest step in order to unlock it.

The objective here is to “Disrupt the temporal storm.” Look up in the sky to find your next quest marker. Here, you’ll need to shoot the four glowing yellow orbs in the storm cloud. Each orb you shoot will drop purple-eyes zombies on the map. Kill the purple-eyes zombies underneath the storm, and keep destroying the orbs and zombies until you’ve finished all four. This will complete the quest to unlock Pack-a-Punch, and you can now upgrade your guns.
