A LEGO fan has shared an impressive build in which they created Star Wars‘ Millennium Falcon from a 3-in-1 Dolphin set, with no additional pieces. The conversion of the LEGO kit has impressed many fans for its creativity and the ingenuity required for repurposing pieces so efficiently.
There’s always something new to look forward to from LEGO, but some arrivals take longer than others. A recent leak appears to have revealed that two exciting LEGO Star Wars sets have been delayed to 2028. If accurate, it’s likely to disappoint fans of the franchise, but builders like this one find ways to make their own Star Wars creations utilizing what they already have.
A Dolphin Becomes a Millennium Falcon in LEGO Alternate Build
A well-known LEGO builder has shared their reworked version of the 3-in-1 LEGO Dolphin Creator set. Minute_Food_2881 revealed the remarkable alternate build, which completely changes the set into a scene out of Star Wars. The original set is designed to be built as a pair of dolphins, a seahorse, or as a crab, but instead has been repurposed into the Millennium Falcon and a Y-wing. The creative repurposing of the kit’s 542 pieces has impressed the community quite a bit. Those who are interested in trying their hand at reworking the kit the same way can also pick up the Lego MOC from Minute_Food_2881.

Those who lack the LEGO Dolphin Creator set but are in the mood to build a Star Wars creation like this aren’t alone. Reworking existing LEGO sets into the Millennium Falcon has become a fairly popular trend in the community, and this isn’t the first instance of Minute_Food_2881 doing so. However, there have also been plenty that look beyond Solo’s ship, with one recent redux converting a LEGO Golden Retriever set into Tatooine, complete with a Landspeeder and Bantha.
On the other hand, some LEGO fans who own the Millennium Falcon set have taken to converting it into entirely different builds. Minute_Food_2881 is no exception here, as he’s previously reworked the official Millennium Falcon set into the UNSC Burden of Proof ship from Halo: Campaign Evolved. In a separate instance, he took the same kit and built it into an AT-M6 from Star Wars, instead. With enough creativity and patience, it seems the sky is the limit for reimagining existing LEGO kits.
With Star Wars Zero Company being a month old at the time of publication, chances are plenty of fans of the franchise are still exploring the game. However, there’s always more on the horizon when it comes to the Star Wars franchise. In addition to a new Star Wars Jedi figure landing later in 2026, the series will be making a comeback by way of Kingdom Hearts. A Kingdom Hearts 4 achievement leak on Steam revealed that players will be visiting a galaxy far, far away. While not much is known about the sci-fi series’ involvement past that point, it’s been exciting for fans of both Star Wars and Kingdom Hearts nonetheless.
