Move over, Lego World Map! The new biggest Lego set in town (by piece count) is now the just-announced Sagrada Familia, an $800 Lego Architecture set that contains over 12,000 pieces.

Announced on June 4, Lego set 21065 Sagrada Familia is a plastic brick recreation of Antoni Gaudí’s Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família, one of the largest Catholic churches in the world—and one that is not yet completed, despite starting construction back in 1882. Lego’s version of the church includes its 18 massive towers as well as many other details ripped directly from the world-famous landmark. It even has a fully detailed interior that looks incredible.

The Sagrada Familia set launches on November 1 and will include 12,060 pieces, making it the largest Lego set by piece count. That record was previously held by the World Map set, released in 2021, which contains 11,695 pieces. When fully built, it measures 24 inches tall and 18 inches wide.

Here’s how much the set will cost in different parts of the world. You can pre-order the set starting today.

  • 21065 Sagrada Família [US] – US$799.99
  • 21065 Sagrada Família [AU] – AU$1,299.99
  • 21065 Sagrada Família [UK] – £649.99
  • 21065 Sagrada Família [EU] – €749.99
  • 21065 Sagrada Família [CA] – CAD$1,099.99
  • 21065 Sagrada Família [SG] – SGD$1,069.90

Yikes. This ain’t a cheap set, but damn does it look cool. I’m not sure I’d spend that much on a set of a church, but if you’re looking for something to do on a rainy weekend… Personally, my next major Lego purchase is going to be the Star Trek Enterprise D. Not quite a big church, but still impressive. I’d love to see the Sagrada Família take on the Borg or enter warp speed.
