It appears that only 9.7% of players on Steam have completed the story of Crimson Desert so far, despite the game being out for almost five months. Things aren’t that different when it comes to Crimson Desert statistics on Xbox and PlayStation, with players on both platforms seemingly spending hundreds of hours in the game without paying much attention to the main campaign.

According to How Long to Beat’s data, it takes about 69 hours to beat the main story of Crimson Desert. So, it’s unlikely that the campaign’s length is stopping players from completing it.

A quick look at the achievement percentages of Crimson Desert players on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation reveals that only a median of 12.6% of players have earned the “Expert Storyteller” badge, a trophy given to those who “complete all main quests.” Meanwhile, Crimson Desert‘s average playtime seems to be pretty high, with thousands of players already investing over 200 hours in the game. One could, therefore, conclude that side quests, exploration, and leveling up or conquering parts of the map in Crimson Desert have been much more interesting for players than Kliff’s story.
