Few moments in the Lord of the Rings trilogy are as satisfying as Aragorn finally claiming the throne of Gondor—a moment fittingly expounded upon by Middle-earth Enterprises in the upcoming release of Crown of Gondor. After spending much of the story as a reluctant heir, Aragorn embraces his destiny at the end of The Return of the King, becoming King Elessar and helping usher in a new age for Middle-earth. His coronation also marks the end of one of the trilogy’s most important storylines, with Gondor finally receiving a king after centuries of rule by its stewards.
Of course, Aragorn’s coronation wouldn’t be quite the same without the Crown of Gondor, one of the most recognizable symbols of kingship in The Lord of the Rings. Also known as the Winged Crown or Silver Crown, its distinctive appearance makes it stand out among the many weapons, artifacts, and other treasures associated with Middle-earth. Although Aragorn’s sword Anduril arguably gets more attention throughout the trilogy, the crown is just as important for the royal lineage.
Lord of the Rings: Crown of Gondor
Now, Lord of the Rings fans can purchase a life-size Crown of Gondor replica for $749.99, courtesy of Middle-earth Enterprises and collectibles manufacturer PureArts. The 1:1-scale replica recreates Aragon’s crown from The Return of the King, complete with a detailed display base inspired by Minas Tirith. The standard edition is limited to 1,500 pieces, and PureArts currently lists it as in stock across North America, Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and Africa.

The Crown of Gondor replica is made from gold- and silver-colored metal, while its display base is constructed from polyresin. Instead of simply placing the crown on a conventional stand, PureArts recreated the White City of Minas Tirith, complete with intricate architectural details and built-in LED lighting. The entire display measures approximately 18 inches tall, 12 inches wide, and 12 inches deep, weighing roughly 14 pounds (so finding a suitable place to display it might require some planning). That said, despite being a life-size replica, the crown is specifically designated as non-wearable.
PureArts also produced an exclusive edition of the Crown of Gondor replica, although that Lord of the Rings collectible is already sold out. Limited to just 150 pieces, the exclusive edition includes a large embroidered Gondor banner alongside the crown and illuminated display base. Both versions carry the same $749.99 listed price, but only the standard edition is currently available directly through PureArts.

At $750, the Crown of Gondor replica is certainly a premium purchase, but its combination of metal construction, full-scale proportions, and elaborate Minas Tirith base makes it more than a straightforward recreation of Aragorn’s coronation crown. It’s also one of several officially licensed Lord of the Rings collectibles produced by PureArts, which has continued expanding its lineup of movie-inspired replicas.
