More Disney Games Have Been Delisted on Steam

More Disney Games Have Been Delisted on Steam

A massive purge of Disney games just occurred on Steam, as the Mouse House has just removed 13 of its titles from the PC gaming platform. Since its inception in 1923, Disney has become one of the most well-recognized movie studios around, releasing some of the most iconic movies ever made and achieving incredible financial success, with 17 films that have grossed over $1 billion. Beyond its own animated films, Disney has also made prominent acquisitions of popular brands such as Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars, further strengthening its overall dominance.

Disney has also been a major player in the world of video games ever since the release of its first title, 1981’s Mickey Mouse on the Game & Watch. The film giant also had its own in-house game developer/publisher, Disney Interactive, though it closed in 2016 following the discontinuation of the Disney Infinity franchise. Still, Disney continues to see its brand and characters attached to many titles, most prominently in Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts, a crossover between the Final Fantasy franchise and Disney worlds and characters.

A new report reveals that Disney and Epic Games’ partnership is leading to an ARC Raiders-style extraction shooter featuring Disney characters.

13 Disney Games Quietly Delisted From Steam, Bringing 2026 Total to 27

13 different Disney games have been newly delisted from Steam. There’s no real overarching theme to the games being delisted, as they span older and newer films and several different secondary Disney brands, including mainline Disney animated films, Pixar, live-action releases, and even Star Wars. The full list of delisted games is as follows:

  • High School Musical 3
  • Disney-Pixar Brave
  • Bolt
  • Disney’s Treasure Planet: Battle of Procyon
  • Alice in Wonderland
  • Chicken Little
  • Disney Tangled
  • G-Force
  • Disney Universe
  • Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure
  • Disney Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End
  • Star Wars Rebellion
  • Star Wars: Dark Forces

Disney has not commented on the delisting of these 13 games. Thus, it’s unclear whether the removal is merely the result of licensing issues or if Disney chose to remove a vast majority of titles for other reasons. This isn’t the first time the company has gone on a delisting spree: Disney removed 14 games from Steam back in January, bringing the total number of removed games up to 27 in 2026 alone.

Disney’s spree of removing games from Steam in 2026 has raised questions, especially considering that the games being removed span so many different Disney eras and subsidiaries. It would be shocking if all of these titles, created across different development studios and released at wildly different times, all faced licensing issues at the same time. It’s more likely that Disney may have quietly removed some of these games because of their relative obscurity, as very few of the delisted titles would likely rank among the best Disney games ever made.

One considered theory was that Disney was delisting these titles to make way for some re-releases or a larger collection of Disney games. This seems a bit unlikely, though, as it’s hard to imagine a collection combining Star Wars Rebellion, High School Musical 3, and Bolt into one cohesive package. Thus, it’s likely Disney chose to remove some of its more obscure games to increase the value of its brand on Steam.
