ARC Raiders players have another new patch to download ahead of the big Riven Tides update later this month, this time with new fixes for the game crashing on PlayStation 5 and another exploit allowing players to duplicate certain items. While there’s nothing major included in the April 21 ARC Raiders update outside of the aforementioned fixes, Embark is gearing up to launch a significant content update in just a week’s time.
Riven Tides will be the fourth and final content update for ARC Raiders‘ 2026 roadmap, but with plans to support the game for an entire decade, players can likely expect further patches to arrive in the future. Embark didn’t detail its entire plans for this year, but the game’s roadmap did give fans an idea of what to expect for the first half of the year. In January, the studio released Headwinds, the first major ARC Raiders update of 2026, which included a controversial new 1v3 matchmaking option, a minor map condition, and more. February then rolled around with Shrouded Sky, followed by Flashpoint in March. Now, as the end of April is fast approaching, fans are gearing up to jump into Riven Tides.

Embark Releases New ARC Raiders Update for April 21
Before players get to jump into Riven Tides, however, there is one final hotfix update for the community to download. The latest ARC Raiders patch was rolled out today, April 21, addressing a crashing issue for those on PlayStation 5 and a fix for players once again making use of an exploit to duplicate items in-game. According to Embark, there will also be no store rotation this week, as the studio says it has pushed the new cosmetics back for next week’s big Riven Tides update, which will launch on April 28. As there are only two fixes included in the new ARC Raiders update today, Embark has not released a detailed change log.
Duplication exploits in ARC Raiders have been popping up almost every month since the game was released late last year. Embark has been working hard to tackle the issue with continued updates, but players are still, somehow, finding new ways to duplicate in-game items and weapons. While the most recent issue doesn’t appear to have been as widespread, players discovered quite possibly the easiest duplication method yet a few months ago. The exploit took over the game as nearly every player was duplicating throwable items, such as Rubber Ducks, which could be sold for a fortune. However, Embark patched the exploit promptly and even punished those who had exploited the bug.
As for the crashing issues on PlayStation 5, this has also been a continued problem for many users. The problem appears to have increased drastically following the March 31 ARC Raiders update, known as Flashpoint. Players quickly took to social media after the update, with some claiming that their game had crashed six times in a single session. Although it may still be a problem for some, the April 21 ARC Raiders hotfix should help to ease the issue for console users.

As mentioned previously, there is no new content included in today’s ARC Raiders update, but the wait for a brand-new map is almost at an end. After the release of Stella Montis in November 2025, fans have been waiting patiently for Embark to add a new map to ARC Raiders, and that wait is finally set to come to an end next week. Now confirmed to launch on April 28, Riven Tides will see tons of new content added to the title, including a new large ARC enemy, presumably similar to the Queen and Matriarch, the third Expedition Window, and a brand-new coastal-themed map.
