A renowned Destiny 2 content creator shares a new glitch that makes almost all endgame content extremely easy for groups and solo players alike. Destiny 2 has been going through a lot recently, with the game’s end of service announced on May 21, the final update launching on June 9, and mass layoffs at Bungie and SIE on June 25. Now, almost exactly two months since the final update was released, player numbers are still very strong, with around 40,000 players on Steam alone.

Destiny 2's Digital Devil armor set

Destiny 2 is Officially Disabling One Armor Set Permanently

With Destiny 2 now in end-of-service mode and most of the team laid off, Bungie is disabling one armor set permanently.

Destiny 2 Players Can Officially Get Infinite Ammo Anywhere

Destiny 2‘s recently disabled Crystocrene set, which was removed in PVP alongside the Disjunction map due to issues that couldn’t be fixed quickly, is now causing a new glitch that allows players to generate infinite ammo in virtually all activities. The bug was discovered and shared by Aegis (TheAegisRelic) on Twitter, and all it takes to be replicated is for players to have the 2-piece armor set bonus from the Crystocrene set and find a way to kill their own Guardian with a weapon. In this case, Aegis uses a shotgun against the wall. This counts as a final blow to proc Crystocrene, which gives bonus progress toward Special and Heavy ammo bricks, and when the bar is full, the set gives players a brick of both ammo types when they kill their Guardian without consuming the progress. Thus, this can be repeated over and over to generate infinite ammo anywhere that doesn’t have a Darkness Zone if solo, and anywhere with revives or revive tokens in a group.
