Square Enix has officially announced a brand-new Final Fantasy 7 collection, set to release in December 2026. The collection brings together the entire main cast of Final Fantasy 7 in a fun new release for fans to enjoy.
Almost 30 years after its initial release, the original Final Fantasy 7 is widely considered one of the best RPGs ever made. When Square Enix opted to remake the game with modern technology, it decided that one game wasn’t enough to do it justice, choosing instead to split it into three. Of the new trilogy, only two have been released: Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth, with Revelation closing out the trilogy next year. Before then, though, there’s a new FF7 collection on the way that fans will want to pay attention to.
Final Fantasy 7 Adorable Arts Petit Figure Collection Releases December 2026
Square Enix has revealed a new collection of six Adorable Arts Petit figures based on the full cast of main characters in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. These figures put a cartoon spin on the characters from the game with an adorable aesthetic. Pre-orders for the collection are available right now, but this new Final Fantasy release isn’t expected to ship until December 2026. A display box featuring six blind boxes is priced at $96, with each figure standing at approximately 2.5 inches.

There is one very important caveat to note about this new Final Fantasy 7 release. While each sealed display box contains six individual boxes, and there are six FF7 characters in the collection, they are still blind boxes. This means that Square Enix cannot guarantee that buyers will actually get the complete set of figures with the collection, and duplicate items are a distinct possibility. These blind boxes can be purchased individually for $16, too, but again, there is no guarantee that buying more than one won’t result in duplicate figures.
Because Final Fantasy 7 is one of the most popular games in the series, it naturally gets a lot more attention from Square Enix when it comes to merch. There’s some cool FF7 merchandise on the way in 2027, but it’s always worth checking the Square Enix Store to see if there’s anything brand-new available to pre-order.
Fans are set to enter a very exciting period for the Final Fantasy series. Next year marks the franchise’s 40th anniversary, so Square Enix should have plenty to mark the occasion. If the release of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation rounds out the remake trilogy with the same acclaim as the previous two games, 2027 will be huge for fans.
