The award-winning indie game Cult of the Lamb will return with a new official Collector’s Edition release in 2027. Originally launched in 2022, Cult of the Lamb has since received several major releases, including the critically acclaimed Woolhaven DLC and the Deluxe Edition. Now, developer Massive Monster is introducing an all-new definitive edition alongside a wide range of physical collectibles for hardcore fans.
Some may describe Cult of the Lamb as an Animal Crossing-esque roguelike. Others may see it as one of the most addictive action games with base-building mechanics. Regardless, Cult of the Lamb has built a devoted following, and many of those players will be excited to see the game’s latest release.
Cult of the Lamb Collector’s Edition Unveiled
On July 10, developer Massive Monster announced that Cult of the Lamb will receive a special Collector’s Edition featuring physical discs and cartridges for the PS5 and Nintendo Switch versions of the game. Pre-orders are now open on Amazon UK, where the bundle is priced at £129.99 ($174.59). According to the official announcement, the Collector’s Edition is set to launch on March 12, 2027. It includes the brand-new definitive version of Cult of the Lamb and the Woolhaven DLC, as well as other add-ons, “all bundled together and fully available on the cartridge and disc.”

Massive Monster has confirmed that pre-orders will open in additional regions, including the US and Japan, in the coming days. Even better, some items in the bundle, including Cult of the Lamb‘s tarot card-inspired Oracle Deck, the Pilgrim comic book, and the definitive edition of the base game, will also be available separately. Meanwhile, the outer box designed to house all the items is still a work in progress and will likely be revealed at a later date.

Previously, Cult of the Lamb received a Deluxe Edition that also included physical copies of the base game for the PS5 and Nintendo Switch, along with several collectibles, such as an artbook and a physical soundtrack disc, all packaged in a tuck-in box.
The new collector’s edition, however, includes far more premium items, and it may be one of the last opportunities for players to buy a physical PS5 edition. That’s because PlayStation has decided to discontinue physical discs starting in 2028. Developers like Massive Monster, whose games were released before that date, will still be able to order reprints from Sony, but it remains unclear whether they will do so.
