From the moment 4-year-old Cameron first stepped out into Glimmer in Spyro 2, he knew video games were going to play a central role in the rest of his life. Though he never planned to make it the focal point of his career, Cameron spent the vast majority of his spare time growing up playing games, and following graduation from the University of Reading, he thought he’d try his hand at writing a few reviews. Flash forward five years (four of which have been spent at GameRant) and Cameron’s passion for gaming has only grown. Whether it’s covering daily news, writing a personal feature, interviewing a developer, reviewing the latest title, or being sent across the world to preview an upcoming game, Cameron adores it all, and he wouldn’t trade any of it for the world.
The long-rumored LEGO Harry Potter 76476 Ministry of Magic set has just had its first image leaked online. While LEGO is yet to officially announce the set, this leaked image and some prior rumors suggest that this new Ministry of Magic model will be released in just a few months’ time.
LEGO Harry Potter Ministry of Magic First Image Leaked
Rumors of a LEGO Harry Potter Ministry of Magic set first surfaced online back in April of this year. A month later, the rumored set was given some key details by some reliable leakers. According to these leaks, the LEGO Harry Potter 76476 Ministry of Magic set will contain 3,491 pieces, 10+ minifigures, and could retail for around $450. The set is also rumored to release on September 1, 2026.
On July 30, the very first image of this LEGO Harry Potter Ministry of Magic set leaked online. This image comes from Rednote via Reddit, and depicts the 3,491-piece set in all its blurry glory. Though the image quality is poor, it clearly depicts the Harry Potter movies’ version of the Ministry of Magic, with the set segmenting the location into three vertical parts. The bottom layer of the set seems to depict the cavernous foundations of the elaborate Wizarding World structure, while the second, and largest, layer depicts the Ministry of Magic itself. The top layer of the set appears to be based on the streets of London’s Whitehall, with a park bench, phone box, and tube station entrance seemingly being visible in the leaked image.
This newly leaked LEGO image also seems to confirm that the Ministry of Magic set will indeed include at least 10 minifigures. Dumbledore and Voldemort can be clearly seen in the leaked image, dueling at the heart of the Ministry just like in the dramatic finale of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Dolores Umbridge can also be spotted next to Voldemort, as can Mad-Eye Moody on Dumbledore’s side. The other minifigures in the set are a little more difficult to make out, but it’s likely that one of them is Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Magic throughout most of the Harry Potter movie series.
