The new confirmation that Coco is a world in Kingdom Hearts 4 adds support to a leaked worlds list from 2025. That doesn’t mean it should be taken as fact, as every rumor and leak in the world should be treated with a grain of salt, but it does make it worth revisiting this one particular Kingdom Hearts 4 leak.
Kingdom Hearts 4 fans were recently treated to a bevy of new information at D23. Not only was Coco confirmed to be one of the in-game worlds, but it also confirmed that Donald, Goofy, and Mickey Mouse are all playable characters. Sora’s journey is still in focus, but it’s interesting to see how it’s spreading beyond just the beloved protagonist. Square Enix also confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 4 is set for release in 2027, saying that a delay wasn’t even on the table because of how far along the game is in development.
Kingdom Hearts 4 Worlds Leak Supported by Coco
Either way, a list leaked online back in 2025 claiming to reveal the “initial” list of worlds chosen for Kingdom Hearts 4, first being reported by Vice then. The phrase “initial” is likely used to give some wiggle room for the leak to be inaccurate, and that’s assuming it is not a fake wish list essentially. And yet, it did include Coco—now a confirmed KH4 world. Given Coco’s popularity, it’s not too surprising that it’s on this list, as many fans would no doubt want to see it. With all the possibilities, though, it makes a revisit worth it at least. According to this leak, the entire world list includes:

If true, then Kingdom Hearts 4 will feature KH3‘s Final World, Quadratum, The Mysterious Tower, Scala Ad Caelum, Radiant Garden, Destiny Island, something called WF, Hercules, Moana, Princess and the Frog, Wreck-It Ralph, Zootopia, The Incredibles, Brave, Inside Out, Coco, Wall-E, and Star Wars. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been enough Kingdom Hearts 4 news to outright confirm this list, but Coco warrants considering what is mentioned here. Star Wars has been a longstanding Kingdom Hearts 4 rumor, so basically any faked list would likely include it, while the heavy-handed approach to Pixar makes sense too given all the Disney properties it has already explored.
Square Enix’s confidence in a 2027 release date for Kingdom Hearts 4 is good news for this leak too, as every world confirmed by Square Enix will either add or remove credibility to this list. The “initial” aspect to it means a new world or two not listed here isn’t world-ending, but as it starts to take shape, it’ll eventually be clear how accurate this leak is or isn’t.
For now, fans can only sit and wait for more morsels of Kingdom Hearts 4. It’s uncertain if Square Enix will show off more this year, but 2027 is locked in for more news if it does indeed plan to release then.
