My Hero Academia is one of the most popular anime/manga franchises in the world, and soon fans will have a new release to check out. My Hero Academia‘s first chapter was released all the way back in 2014, with the long-running manga coming to an end in 2024. It only took a couple of years for My Hero Academia to get its own anime adaptation, and that ran for a whopping eight seasons from 2016 to 2025.
Even though the My Hero Academia manga and anime are over, the franchise lives on thanks to spin-offs, books, plays, and more. Like many other popular anime franchises, My Hero Academia has seen plenty of video game releases over the years as well, with one of the more recent ones being My Hero Academia: All’s Justice, a 3D arena fighting game that was released for various platforms earlier this year.
My Hero Academia: All’s Justice Getting Switch 2 Port and Free DLC Update
My Hero Academia: All’s Justice is officially making its way to a new platform on September 4, as that’s when the Switch 2 port will finally hit store shelves. MHA fans that primarily play on Nintendo consoles will no doubt be happy about this news, but September 4 is relevant to those playing My Hero Academia: All’s Justice on other platforms as well. The same day that My Hero Academia: All’s Justice releases for the Nintendo Switch 2, those playing the game on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox will be treated to a free update that adds brand-new content to the mix.
The Minigame (All 10 Types) mode will be added to My Hero Academia: All’s Justice completely free of charge on September 4. As its name implies, the mode gives My Hero Academia fans 10 different mini-games to enjoy, including some based on the classic arcade game Pac-Man. The mode sounds like a fun way for MHA fans to interact with their favorite characters beyond the fighting game conventions that make up the core All’s Justice experience.
The 10 mini-games included are Eri and Candy Apples, where players take on the role of Deku as he catches candied apples and gets powered up by Eri; Zero Counting, where players grab mochi as soon as it’s done cooking; Recipro Run, where players take on the role of Tenya as he dodges obstacles on a busy street; Dynamight Shot, where players blast waves of villains as Bakugo; Twinkling Shot, where players blast villains with Aoyama’s Navel Laser; the card-matching game Sugar Memory; a hide-and-seek game where your goal is to find the invisible character Hagakure; The Watchful Eyes of Shoji, where players have to quickly press buttons at the right time; a Pac-Man clone called Mina Survive; and finally, another Pac-Man clone called Koji Survive.
My Hero Academia fans looking for an excuse to jump back into All’s Justice can mark their calendars for September 4. As far as future MHA projects go, fans can rest assured that more video games are undoubtedly in the pipeline, and there is also the live-action MHA movie to look forward to as well.
