New Xbox Sale Lets You Buy 1 Get 2 Free

New Xbox Sale Lets You Buy 1 Get 2 Free

Xbox has brought back its ‘Buy One, Get Two Free’ special offer, but this time targeting DLCs and expansion packs, with a majority of them from Ubisoft games. Xbox’s latest ‘Buy One, Get Two Free’ promotion is a rare opportunity for Xbox users to stock up on DLCs for their favorite games at a fraction of the original price. The promotion is unlike a traditional deep sale, as players must only pick two free DLCs or expansion packs that cost the same or less than their purchased one.

The ‘Buy One, Get Two’ special offer in January 2026 offered players the chance to add three games to their Xbox library at the cost of one from a variety of indie titles such as Valheim. It ran until January 29, 2026, in parallel with other Xbox sales for the month, and has now returned in February 2026 with an even more enticing collection – this time centered on post-launch content.

Xbox Game Pass May Be Getting More Premium Titles Soon

Microsoft might soon add more premium games to Xbox Game Pass to grow its library and make the service more appealing for players.

Games and Franchises in Xbox’s Buy One, Get Two Free Special Offer

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Combat

  • Assassin’s Creed
  • Far Cry
  • Star Wars Outlaws
  • LEGO: Star Wars
  • Humankind
  • Aliens: Fireteam Elite
  • Hot Wheels

The main star of the ‘Buy One, Get Two Free’ special offer in February 2026 is Ubisoft, with many Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry titles included in the promotion. This notably includes DLCs for Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla – Assassin’s Creed titles that remain regarded as some of the best the franchise has to offer. In addition to Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry, Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws is also highlighted in the offer, whose Deluxe Edition is currently on sale for $26.99. Beyond Ubisoft, the DLCs for LEGO: Star Wars, Humankind, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, and Hot Wheels are also included. The special promotion will be available until March 6, 2026.

Ubisoft’s open world titles offer the biggest value through this promotion. Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla each feature substantial DLCs that introduce new regions, questlines, and mechanics rather than simple cosmetic additions. For Assassin’s Creed players who completed the base campaigns years ago, this promotion offers a convenient way to revisit those worlds with meaningful new content.

While Star Wars Outlaws had a mixed reception at launch, it is a significantly more polished experience in 2026, sitting at mostly positive reviews on Steam. In the wake of Andor‘s resounding success, players and fans of the franchise who may want a Star Wars adventure different from the standard Jedi and Sith fare could dive into the underworld as Kay Vess.

Beyond Ubisoft’s catalog, fans of the Civilization franchise may consider giving Humankind a try. While Civilization 7 notably borrowed a few features from Humankind, such as switching civilizations across eras, the two titles still offer a fundamentally different experience. Humankind notably has a prehistoric stage that allows players to explore the map and find an ideal place to settle their civilization. The DLCs can further expand this experience by giving players a bigger pool of civilizations to choose from. Unfortunately, the base game isn’t currently discounted at the Xbox store, but it does frequently go on sale.

What makes Xbox’s latest special offer stand out is that it lets players complete their DLC collections at a bargain, or even convinces them to give some of the aforementioned titles a try. To make the most out of the sale, Xbox users are advised to purchase three DLCs of a similar price tag. While the recent leadership change at Xbox has stirred plenty of discussion about its future, Microsoft seems content with offering Xbox users plenty of generous deals. It is likely that the ‘Buy One, Get Two Free’ promotion will come back in the future with a new list of games and DLCs.
