Neverness to Everness (NTE) officially revealed the rewards for upcoming S-rank character Hotori’s banner, which launches this month. Described as a supernatural open-world RPG, NTE is the latest gacha game to capture the attention of players with its exciting plot, immersive world, and diverse roster of characters.
Released on April 29, 2026, NTE quickly became one of the most-downloaded mobile games in the US, Japan, and Korea. Its overall gameplay, from the combat to the exploration, has left a strong impression on players, describing NTE as a cross between GTA and Genshin Impact. The relationship-building mechanic between characters is also reminiscent of the Persona games, which adds another layer of investment into the characters.
How to Play NTE With Friends
Playing Neverness to Everness with friends makes exploring Hethereau way more fun. Here’s how to add and invite your pals to the adventure.
NTE’s Hotori Banner Comes With Cool Rewards
Following the first phase of the NTE Version 1.0 S-rank banner featuring Nanally, the game is gearing up to launch Hotori for the second phase starting on May 13, 2026. According to promotional material published on NTE China’s social media (reshared by Reddit user iBuxu), the pull rewards for Hotori’s banner will include various cosmetics, such as:
- 50 pulls: Hotori-themed umbrella accessory
- 120 pulls: Bike skin
- 200 pulls: Exclusive kimono outfit for Hotori

In the comments under iBuxu’s post, many NTE fans expressed their excitement for Hotori’s banner and its unique cosmetic rewards. Some also pointed out how expensive it would be to pull 200 times just to get the gorgeous exclusive outfit. But they also appreciated how NTE removed the pity for the outfit pull, which guarantees players that they will get it once they successfully reach 200 pulls. This element in the gacha system, among other features, is one of the reasons why players believe NTE could give HoYoverse a run for its money.
Hotori wields the Cosmos Element and Solid Arc, with a support-type kit that allows her to slow down enemies and trigger high-damage Momentum finishers in the battlefield. As a Cosmos Esper, she also synergizes well with Anima and Lakshana characters, like Nanally and Hathor, respectively. Hotori can be a strong support unit that can amplify the abilities of NTE‘s current range of DPS characters.

NTE already has two more S-rank characters lined up for Version 1.1. The first phase will feature the Chaos-type Esper Lacrimosa, who launches in June, while the second phase will introduce the mysterious Chaos. NTE‘s succeeding updates will be the ultimate litmus test of how successful it could become in the coming months. More characters mean having more variety in team compositions, allowing players to experiment with synergies. This also means a richer storyline down the line as the Espers interact with each other and explore more of Hethereau City. NTE has the potential to be just as successful as the likes of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, so it will be interesting to see what developer Hotta Studio is cooking up for future updates.
