A Palworld player has constructed a stunning base within the game’s Version 1.0 update, towering over the surrounding mountains and islands. The impressive Palworld base features 243 levels and uses more than 200,000 blocks to create the unbelievable tower.
The monster-catching survival game from developer Pocketpair has been a smash-hit since it first released in early access in 2024. Palworld quickly became an online sensation following its debut, amassing more than 8 million sales within the first week and recently passing 30 million units after the launch of Version 1.0. The 1.0 update brought a wealth of content to the game with its long-awaited full release, including new Pals, new story content, and the ability for players to finally travel to the World Tree. Now, one Palworld fan is showing off an absolutely stunning base that took months to complete.
Palworld Fan Creates Incredible Tower Base
A Palworld player, Veli’s Palworld, recently showed off their stunning in-game base, building a massive tower that stretches into the game’s skies. The gigantic structure included 243 different levels with fully-fleshed-out interiors, including a terrarium with trees and a pond and even a “Sky Stadium” designed for Pal battles. The impressive base required more than 200,000 blocks to fully realize the design, with the project reportedly taking Veli’s Palworld more than three real-world months to build. Veli’s Palworld also cited the Tokyo Skytree as an inspiration for the Palworld base, with the tower said to “light up the sky” in a cinematic show taken at night.

The stunning Palworld creation includes plenty of advanced building techniques within the survival game. Veli’s Palworld uses a mix of foundations and pillars to achieve the spiral seen throughout the base of the tower, carefully rotating each piece to create the proper effect. The base also makes effective use of the limitations for building a base camp in Palworld, with restrictions placed on the horizontal space of a base but no limits on the vertical space. Veli’s Palworld also confirmed that no mods were used to create the base, entirely relying on the game’s normal systems.
The Version 1.0 update for Palworld served as the biggest update for the game yet, with a wide array of changes to the game. Pocketpair added 72 new Pals to the game’s roster with the launch of Version 1.0, alongside new mechanics for acquiring stronger Pals like Awakening and Mutation. The game debuted a wealth of items with Version 1.0, including the Wing Pack, which allows players to fly without using a Pal, and 13 new types of weapons. Palworld‘s 1.0 update was so large that the game’s Head of Publishing and Communications, Bucky, even revealed that the update featured 27 pages of patch notes.
Palworld‘s long road to its Version 1.0 update saw plenty of surprises for the popular monster-catching game. Pocketpair has been embroiled in a major legal dispute with Nintendo and The Pokemon Company over Palworld, with the Pokemon creator claiming that Palworld infringes on its patents. The high-profile lawsuit has gone on for more than two years and has seen Pocketpair make changes to the game and fight back against the legal action, even leading to Nintendo lowering its demands from Pocketpair in June 2026. Palworld‘s successes, both with the game and in the courtroom, should signal a bright future ahead for the game.
