Palworld Fan Pays Homage to Destiny 2 With Jaw-Dropping Tower Build

A Palworld fan dedicates an amazing build to Destiny 2, recreating The Tower in astonishing detail, complete with The Traveler. Destiny 2 was once the epitome of live-service gaming, to the point that Sony initially decided to acquire Bungie to bolster its live-service lineup. However, the game has met its unceremonious end with the June 9 Monument of Triumph update, with Bungie not updating it anymore in the future, save for sporadic, small bug fixes if needed. In spite of this, Destiny 2 still has around 40,000 daily players on Steam alone.

Many content creators are branching out or have retired altogether, as there won’t be more new content to cover. An example comes from the most beloved YouTuber for the game, as Datto is retiring from Destiny 2 content creation on August 18 after a final video. Several content creators have moved on to other games, and even major ones like Fallout Plays are now playing Palworld or other games with shooter elements. The end of Destiny 2 coincided with the release of Palworld‘s 1.0 update, adding plenty more content to the game and making it more appealing for new and old players alike.

New Free Destiny 2 Release Features Official Leviathan Raid

A new Destiny 2 release is coming soon, and it will allow fans to play the Leviathan Raid and other content from the content vault.

Palworld Player Shares Incredible Destiny 2 Tower Base Build

A Palworld player by the name of SarcasticWheatThin shared a video on Twitter showcasing their incredible build of Destiny 2‘s Tower in the monster-catching game, recreating it down to some minute details with just Palworld’s assets. SarcasticWheatThin created the landing area near the Bazaar in The Tower, going from there up to the room where The Drifter would be, complete with a tank filled with green liquid. From there, the build includes the area where Ada-1 is located, all the way to the Bazaar area, including a statue to resemble Destiny 2‘s Xur and his location in The Tower, as well as the places where Ikora and Hawthorne normally are. The walkthrough continues through the connection between the Bazaar and the main landing zone, though it doesn’t include the stairwell that leads to Zavala’s office.

The main hub has a vendor stall where Banshee-44 is, the Vault, the terrace where Shaxx can be found, the Postmaster area, Zavala’s place overlooking the Last City (complete with The Traveler in the distance), and even the current Monument of Triumph area. Finally, the area connects to the Hangar, where Saint-14 and Trials of Osiris are located in the actual game, including the spaceport where players can recall their ship. This build has taken SarcasticWheatThin a lot of time to finish, as shown with progress posts on Twitter, but it’s an incredible achievement in the recently released Palworld‘s 1.0 update.

Considering that Pocketpair asked Palworld players to start over in update 1.0, and seeing how many new gamers joined when it launched, it’s impressive that some fans managed to build enormous bases that look so similar to their inspiration after so little time. In this case, SarcasticWheatThin tagged the official Destiny 2 Team account on Twitter and used the hashtag for Bungie’s MOTW award, though it’s unclear whether an entry from a different game altogether counts, and whether this specific submission will win anything.

Destiny 2 Player Count is Nearly 10x Bigger Than Marathon

For those who are still playing Bungie’s beloved looter-shooter, Destiny 2 players can get Tier 5 armor sets very easily with a new glitch, and even farm some endgame activities completely solo. These bugs won’t be fixed anytime soon, if ever, so fans can rest assured that there is no pressure.
