Atlus and Sega have released a brand-new trailer for Persona 4 Revival, and its primary focus is showcasing some of the new features and changes in the upcoming remake. Of course, those who have played more modern Persona games (although P4 is not that THAT old) may be familiar with some of these key features, but that only builds more anticipation for Persona 4 Revival‘s eventual release.
Persona 4 Revival is set to release on February 18, 2027, making it one of the earliest games of the year. It’s a busy time, as many September 2026 games are seemingly finding themselves in February as well, but Persona is a known brand with a lot of love. When it arrives as a day-one Xbox Game Pass game, it’s not likely to be drowned out by all the noise—especially with the depth of its additions.
Atlus Releases New Trailer for Persona 4 Revival Features
The first new addition to Persona 4 Revival is newly recorded, fully voiced events to add more immersion in Inaba’s daily life. These additions are designed to give the main story more emotional weight while also expanding the connections between characters through new Social Link events for Persona 4 Revival. Secondly, the remake will also feature brand-new music from Atlus composer Riyota Kosaka alongside remixed versions of existing P4 tracks, with singer Shiori Sasaki providing the vocals.

Persona 4 Revival‘s combat is also getting some new tricks, including the third brand-new feature called Send Flying. When a normal attack hits a Shadow suffering from a status ailment, the enemy can be knocked backward into another Shadow, dealing damage and spreading that ailment in the process (although this only works when multiple Shadows are present). Baton Pass is another new addition, allowing players to hand control of their turn to an ally during a 1 MORE, making it easier to target weaknesses and coordinate attacks across the party.
The biggest new combat option (and final/fifth) is Prime Time, a powerful mode that gives the party a string of consecutive actions once its meter is filled. While active, skill costs are removed, enemy resistances are ignored, and Baton Pass can be used freely before the sequence ends with a powerful Series Finale attack. Together, these additions give Persona 4 Revival more ways to approach battles while expanding the story, music, and character interactions surrounding the classic Inaba mystery.
Of course, whether Atlus or Sega lands the changes remains to be seen. The Persona franchise is more popular than ever, and Persona 4 Revival could set the tone for P6‘s eventual release date. Atlus and Sega have teased a little bit about the game, but very little is officially confirmed as of this writing.
