PlayStation Network servers are currently down, locking thousands of users out of digital content and online services across the platform. The PlayStation Network outage may have been related to the Amazon Web Services outage in the early hours of July 24. However, Amazon has confirmed that all AWS connectivity issues have been resolved, yet the PSN has still been down for over four hours.

According to the network status indicator on the PlayStation website, all services are currently experiencing issues, including PlayStation Store, PlayStation Video, Account Management, Gaming and Social, and PlayStation Direct. Users are reporting that they are unable to complete purchases on the PS Store or download games from their PlayStation library. Sony hasn’t provided an update on when these services will be back online.
