Pokemon GO is gearing up to run both its PokemonXP and Pokemon GO World Championships events in late August. The events will debut a pair of brand-new Pikachu variants for players to discover, with a Pikachu wearing a Cosmog-inspired spacesuit and a World Championships Pikachu donning a crown and cape. Each event will include boosted spawns for a multitude of fan-favorite Pokemon, including Ralts, Spheal, and Sobble for PokemonXP and Totodile, Froakie, and Litten for the World Championships. Pokemon GO‘s PokemonXP event will run from August 25 to August 28, both beginning and ending at 10:00 a.m. local time, while the World Championships event will begin August 28 at 10:00 a.m. and end on August 30 at 8:00 p.m. local time.
