Pokemon Pokopia Fans Only Have Until August 19 to Get New Freebies

Pokemon Pokopia Fans Only Have Until August 19 to Get New Freebies

New Pokemon Pokopia freebies became available recently, but fans only have until August 19 to claim them before they’re gone. Pokemon Pokopia has been one of the most surprising hits of the year, quickly becoming one of the best Pokemon games of all time and also the best-selling Switch 2 game to date after Mario Kart World. The game is also being supported with multiple expansions and events, further keeping the spotlight on this unique Pokemon title since it first came out.

For example, players can currently get Feebas and Milotic in Pokemon Pokopia until late August, which adds even more critters to the Pokedex of the Bubbly Basin DLC. However, event-exclusive Pokemon are obtainable even past their expiration date by changing the date on the Switch 2, so missing out on them is not as problematic. There are some freebies that players can get within a limited time, though, and for those it does matter when one engages with the process. Such is the case with new free rewards that players can get for Pokemon Pokopia, and they will go away on August 19.

Pokemon Pokopia Smashes Another Major Milestone

Nintendo has just officially confirmed that Pokemon Pokopia has hit another major sales milestone.

You Can Get Free Pokopia Switch Online Rewards, But You Have to Act Fast

Pokemon Pokopia fans can get the newest wave of icons dedicated to the game until August 19, but they are exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online. These include a dressed-up Peakychu and Ditto from Pokopia‘s Expansion Pass Part 2, the new Stereo Rotom, a sleeping Ditto, Lapras Ditto, Professor Tangrowth, Chef Dente Greedent, and a happy Charmander. These can be obtained from Missions and Rewards in the Nintendo Switch Online store entirely for free in exchange for Platinum Coins, and they are being retired in just a few days. This is not the first time the game has been running a promotional time-limited wave of Nintendo Switch Online free rewards for Pokemon Pokopia, but the current set of available icons may be the last for Expansion Pass Part 1 & 2 until the next DLC launches.

Pokopia‘s Bubbly Basin DLC added dozens of new Pokemon for players to add to their towns, and it’s confirmed that Part 2 of the Expansion Pass will not add new towns, but will introduce the dress-up feature. An example comes from the new icons for Peakychu and Ditto, with the former wearing a maid-like headdress and a pair of wings, whereas the latter wears sunglasses and a flower in its hair. The last wave of icons before this included images of a diving Ditto, Manaphy, Popplio, Chef Dente Greedent, Ditto, Professor Tangrowth, Peakychu, Dragonite Ditto, Smearguru, Bulbasaur, and the Pokedex. These were available from August 5 to August 12 and are not unobtainable.

For those who are still learning to dive in Pokemon Pokopia, or haven’t even accessed the DLC yet, there is plenty of content awaiting them. The others who have progressed into the game or even completed all tasks so far still have lots to do, though they may be looking forward to the next release for the game.
