Alongside their featured Pokemon, both Pokemon TCG Live decks make use of some of the new cards in Chaos Rising. Both decks include Special Red Card, two in Mega Greninja and one in Mega Floette, guaranteeing easy access to three copies of the powerful new Trainer card. Mega Floette also includes two new Stadium cards in Chaos Rising, using Prism Tower and Ange Floette in tandem to provide the previously-mentioned boosts to the signature Pokemon. Each deck also includes a selection of some of the Pokemon TCG‘s most powerful Supporter cards, such as Lillie’s Determination, Team Rocket’s Petrel, and Judge.
Both new Pokemon TCG Live decks are set to provide some unique new strategies following the game’s recent rotation. Pokemon officially rolled out the newest rotation of the TCG’s Standard Format with the release of Perfect Order, cycling out the first half of the game’s Scarlet and Violet sets. The rotation removed powerful Supporter cards like Iono, Arven, and Professor’s Research from Standard, also causing popular decks such as Gholdengo ex and Gardevoir ex to lose key pieces of their strategy.
Fit the 9 games into the grid.
Chaos Rising will bring plenty more to Pokemon TCG Live beyond its assortment of cards. The digital card game is set to add a brand-new game mode with the launch of the next expansion, introducing a Build and Battle sealed mode inspired by Pokemon‘s physical TCG pre-releases. Pokemon TCG Live also pushed some notable changes to the game’s Deck Editor in its April update, streamlining the process of importing decks and improving functionality on tablet devices. Pokemon TCG fans should have lots to look forward to with the release of Chaos Rising on the horizon.
