Pokemon Unite adds a new promotion that gives players free Pokemon, Holowear, License Points, and more, but only for a limited time. July 2026 is a big month for Pokemon Unite and other Pokemon games. Pokemon GO celebrates its 10th anniversary this July, Pokemon TCG‘s Pitch Black expansion comes out this month, and Japanese store shelves will be hit with Pokemon Plakoro. Coincidentally, Pokemon Unite also celebrates its anniversary in July 2026, with big new releases as well as plenty of giveaways for players to benefit from.
Summer is typically filled with Pokemon releases and announcements, and more may be revealed during the Pokemon World Championship in August. Pokemon Winds and Waves leaks showed seven new Pokemon recently, but Gen 10 won’t show up in 2026 again, according to leaks. Pokemon Pokopia is getting a DLC soon, and more to follow in the coming months. In the case of Pokemon Unite, not only are fans now able to get their hands on Yveltal as of July 3, but more Legendary Pokemon are coming alongside free gifts that players can get with a bit of dedication.

Pokemon GO just confirmed the bonuses and Pokemon lineup for its upcoming 10th anniversary event, including a very rare Pokemon.
Pokemon Unite Giving Away Free Rewards for a Limited Time
Pokemon Unite is giving away Holowear, Pokemon, License Points, and other rewards through a series of login bonuses. The first giveaway has been taking place since July 1 and ends on July 14, with 14 different rewards for players to claim. Unfortunately, fans cannot get all the rewards, including License Points and License Art for Yveltal, unless they log into the game each day. However, this event will be repeated every 14 days to celebrate a new launch, with one dedicated to Palkia, Reshiram, and Solgaleo, respectively. There will be a Premium Holowear Selection Box given away on July 21, the day of the anniversary, and there is also a free login bonus event that allows players to get up to five Pokemon and five Holowear, provided they log into the game for a total of 10 days.

- Pokemon Unite Free Premium Holowear Selection Box Giveaway: From July 21, 2026 (exclusively on July 21)
- Pokemon Unite Ranked Match Series 37: From July 1, 2026, to August 1, 2026
The free Pokemon and Holowear login bonus event will grant players a Selection Box for each Pokemon role in Pokemon Unite. The first day grants an Attacker Pokemon, and then the following take place in order. It’s worth noting that players can only get Pokemon Unite licenses that were available before September 5th of 2025.
While the game is giving away free Holowear with the login event, the Premium Holowear Selection Box is only available on July 21. This is likely going to be part of the Palkia login bonus event, as the Legendary Pokemon launches on July 17. Recently, Pokemon Unite added the Kanto Legendary Birds and Johto starters, and it looks like the new critters are not going to stop any time soon.

Pokemon Unite added Mega Lucario and Mega Charizard as part of the Mega Evolution arc for the series, and it seems that the anniversary started a spree of Legendary Pokemon releases. What’s next is hard to tell, but at least players can get lots of goodies for free starting this month.
