Alongside the release of PS Plus‘ free games for May 2026, also known as the Essential Tier, is a bonus for those who download the new games. The PS Plus monthly games are, generally speaking, worth their own weight in value, but even a little extra goes a long way for subscribers.

The PS Plus free games for May 2026 are available as of this writing, and this month’s list includes EA Sports FC 26 (PS4/PS5), Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (PS5), and Nine Sols (PS4/PS5). For the uninitiated, Nine Sols is a 2D action platformer with deflection-based combat inspired by Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, while Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a soulslike action RPG set in a fictional take on China’s final years of the Ming Dynasty, where players must master various weapons and skills to uncover a hidden truth. And of course, EA Sports FC 26 is the latest release in the beloved, long-running soccer simulation franchise (previously known as FIFA).
