Red Dead Redemption 2 Fan Recreates Valentine in Heartopia

Red Dead Redemption 2 Fan Recreates Valentine in Heartopia

A clever Heartopia player has recreated the town of Valentine from Red Dead Redemption 2 within the sim game. Heartopia is giving fans plenty of tools to build what they put their minds to, and this is just one example.

Heartopia launched in early January for mobile and PC, and players wasted no time diving in to see what the life sim has to offer. The game’s playerbase is still growing on Steam, with a consecutive player peak of over 50,000 just days prior to this fan sharing their creation. Given the game’s general newness, it’s likely that many similar creations like this will follow.

Heartopia Players Are Building Life-Sized Dollhouses, Convenience Stores, and More

Heartopia offers some robust house-building tools for players to get creative with, and these Heartopia players understood the assignment.

Heartopia Player is Recreating Valentine from Red Dead Redemption 2

On Reddit, a player and Red Dead Redemption 2 fan called No_Analysis3857 shared their progress on rebuilding the town of Valentine within Heartopia. Though the recreation is incomplete, it’s immediately recognizable to fans of Red Dead Redemption 2 due to how carefully it was built to match the original. So far, No_Analysis3857 has recreated Valentine’s sheriff’s office, the neighboring doctor’s office and drug store, gun smith, and the law office across the street. However, much of the charm of this build is in the details.

The selection of Valentine’s buildings have been remade faithfully, matching the design, layout, and overall aesthetics of the original game as closely as is possible in Heartopia. No_Analysis3857 has also included little Easter eggs, like including a placeholder for Micah in Valentine’s jail and even including a remade version of the wagon placed outside the doctor’s office, which the player can actually sit in. While the law office is currently empty, it sounds like the player intends to keep working on the town once they reach level 24 in Heartopia, so it will likely be filled out in the future.

Heartopia players have been extremely enthusiastic about the build, heaping praise on the player. One fellow fan of both games suggested that if Heartopia adds the ability to sell items out of a player-run shop, they would want to visit No_Analysis3857’s version of Valentine to do just that. Hopefully, the player returns in the near future to showcase any further developments their take on Valentine undergoes.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Inspires Fan Creations

Heartopia isn’t the only game to get the Red Dead Redemption 2 treatment, as the well-loved Rockstar title has captivated players in a way that continues past playing the actual game. In the past, players have used sim titles to create things like Arthur Morgan in InZOI, while Minecraft players have remade things like Red Dead‘s town of Armadillo and the Braithwaite Manor, and another utilized Cities: Skylines to build a portion of the game world from Red Dead Redemption 2.

With Heartopia having only been out in the west for a short period of time, it’s likely that fans will start using the game to create all kinds of remakes of their favorite things in the months gto come. While there’s no way of knowing if more Red Dead Redemption 2 towns and locations will get the same treatment, players of similar sim games seem to have limitless creativity, so it’s entirely possible. Fans of Animal Crossing have shared their own builds based upon the wild west game in the past, and some gamers have showcased their favorite places and characters from Red Dead Redemption 2 in The Sims series, as well.

At the moment, Rockstar Games’ focus is on Grand Theft Auto 6, which is set to release later in 2026. While it’s possible that Red Dead Redemption 3 is already in the works, it’s likely years away from even being announced. However, even as the most recent game continues to grow older, it’s clear that its world isn’t done inspiring fans, and is likely to keep doing so for the forseeable future.
