Resident Evil Requiem‘s first hour features a woefully defenseless Grace Ashcroft, and players will want to rectify that as soon as possible. After Resident Evil Requiem‘s prologue, players find themselves in a care center, where the control swaps between Leon S. Kennedy and Grace. Leon is armed to the teeth, but Grace starts out with absolutely nothing in her inventory.
Grace soon finds herself face-to-face with one of Resident Evil Requiem‘s horrific monsters, but there’s nothing she can to do to fight back against it. In this section, players have to go the stealthy route, and run away whenever possible. It won’t be possible for Grace to get a gun until after Leon gives her the Requiem magnum, but bullets for that are extremely hard to come by and Requiem players may be wondering how to get a more standard gun to use instead.
Resident Evil Requiem: How Long Does It Take to Beat?
Resident Evil Requiem, aka Resident Evil 9, boasts a runtime that lands somewhere in between the franchise’s shorter and longer entries.
Where to Get Grace’s First Gun in Resident Evil Requiem
Luckily, getting Grace a regular handgun in Resident Evil Requiem is fairly simple. In the first save room, go down the stairs through the red hallway, watch the scene, grab the keycard, and then unlock the west wing. From there, follow the hall to the left and enter the kitchen. There is a huge chef zombie in here, but all you need to do is wait for him to move to the counter where his back is to Grace, and then push the cart out of the way. You might need to stop pushing the cart and go hide if he becomes aware of you, but otherwise, just keep pushing the cart until you can get into the next hallway.

The next step is to run to the right, take the first left, and go into the dining room. This place is crawling with zombies, so you will want to hug the right side and grab the B934 handgun from the ground.
Ammo for this gun is scarce, but not nearly as rare as the precious Requiem bullets. For now, you will want to regroup in the main lobby, so exit through the other door, go down the hall, up the stairs, through the bar lounge, and follow that hall to the door that loops back to the lobby. You can then head back to the save room to manage your inventory, save progress, or do whatever else you might need to do at this point in Resident Evil Requiem, but at least now you have a gun to defend yourself with.
