Rockstar Games has seemingly confirmed a slate of big-name artists for the GTA 6 soundtrack after a series of social media reveals. While there is still much to uncover about Grand Theft Auto 6‘s soundtrack, it’s already shaping up to be a star-studded lineup.
Music has always been at the heart of Grand Theft Auto. Rockstar Games has done an excellent job carefully curating every GTA soundtrack to ensure they enhance the game world and capture the essence of the time and place. But with expectations higher than ever for GTA 6‘s soundtrack, Rockstar is under serious pressure to deliver this time around.
GTA 6 Soundtrack Artists Revealed As Marketing Ramps Up
In a series of posts shared across the individual music artists’ social media, six new pieces of GTA 6 artwork were officially revealed. Nine artists have teased their involvement in the GTA 6 soundtrack, and it remains to be seen whether more will be announced today. There are some seriously huge names of note here, including Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, and Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards.
All GTA 6 Soundtrack Artists Confirmed
- Travis Scott
- Morgan Wallen
- Future
- Metro Boomin
- CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso
- Keith Richards
- Yung Lean
- Pink Pantheress
- Rauw Alejandro
It will be interesting to see whether these artists will all be featured on GTA 6‘s soundtrack, or whether any of them are teasing further involvement in the game. Dr. Dre’s appearances in GTA Online show there’s a precedent for this, but for most of these artists, a place on the soundtrack feels more likely right now.
Of course, this isn’t all the artists confirmed to appear in GTA 6. The recent Extended Look featured major names like Depeche Mode, Phil Collins, and Def Leppard with songs in the game, so the entire GTA 6 soundtrack is officially starting to take shape. It’s unlikely Rockstar will reveal all the songs pre-release, but artists are understandably hyped to be featured in what is expected to be the biggest video game launch of all time.
With just over two months until the game’s release, GTA 6‘s marketing is set to hit full swing soon. The Extended Look was just the start, and now, with featured music artists sharing their involvement, things are going up a notch. Rockstar is regularly revealing new GTA 6 details, ensuring fans are never short on information about its upcoming title.
