In a post, they shared that they threw a baby shower, but all the attendees suddenly died because they all suffered heatstroke. The player said they were surprised by what happened because one minute the guests were chilling, and the next, they started collapsing at the same time due to the heat. Sims can die in various ways, and drastic changes in temperature can cause Sims to either freeze or collapse from heatstroke. They won’t immediately pass away when they collapse, but players must also keep an eye on their Sim’s hunger meter to ensure that they fully recover.

In the comments, many Sims 4 fans were just as surprised by the incident, while also making light of the strange situation. Low-Somewhere-284 also gave everyone additional lore that their pregnant Sims divorced her husband the night before the baby shower due to cheating, and that the dad also died from heatstroke at the party. On the bright side, their Sim gave birth to twin babies shortly after.
