Solo Leveling Officially Introduces New A-Rank Hunter

Solo Leveling is already one of the most successful anime series of the 2020s, and perhaps the most successful South Korean web novel franchise to date. However, despite its rising popularity, fans are still waiting for the announcement of Solo Leveling Season 3.

In the meantime, fans can enjoy other media related to the series, like the sequel web novel, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, focused on Sung Suho. They can also relive the adventures of Jinwoo by playing Solo Leveling: ARISE, a game adaptation of the webtoon with dynamic battles and the possibility of players creating their own army of Shadows.

5 Things Confirmed About Solo Leveling Season 3

Here is everything we know about Solo Leveling Season 3.

Solo Leveling: Arise Just Dropped a New Hunter

Netmarble, the publisher of Solo Leveling: ARISE, recently dropped a fresh update to the game, adding Elena Renault, a brand-new A-Rank Hunter from the Justitia Guild, France’s leading guild in the game’s story. An original character, Elena is a supporter who can provide water-based buffs to the team, and she has a powerful Ultimate Skill called “Prison d’Argent” (Silver Prison), with which she can lock up enemies and inflict a great amount of damage on them.

Furthermore, with the update, players in Expert mode can enjoy Chapters 21, 22, and 23, as well as Hidden Chapters 1 and 2. There are also many events underway in celebration of the second anniversary of the game, and more challenges are available in Battlefield of Trials.

The second global tournament, SLC 2026, is set to take place in Seoul, South Korea on April 25, 2026. During the battles, new information and updates will be announced, so even casual players should keep an eye on official social media to learn what’s coming next in the game.

Can Solo Leveling Season 3 be Announced at SLC 2026?

While it is frustrating that no consistent news regarding the continuation of the series has emerged since the ending of Solo Leveling Season 2, fans can rest assured that a sequel is very likely to be announced at some point. However, given that SLC 2026 is a niche event for the players of the game and has no relation to the anime production, it seems unlikely that a new season will be announced there.

Still, both staff from Crunchyroll, including CEO Rahul Purini, and members of the anime production team have given numerous statements that suggest that there is already a plan for Season 3 or, eventually, a movie continuing the events of the TV anime. Furthermore, it’s rare for a hit like this to have production suddenly halted. There’s simply no reason not to produce a third season or another form of sequel. Not even Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 has been able to beat the ratings of Solo Leveling Season 2.

Therefore, fans should hold their excitement a little longer and wait for more information on the anime, because it’s almost certain that good news will eventually emerge, and it will be huge (though, perhaps, Season 3 will be the last).
