One early game quest in Pokemon Pokopia is causing some headaches, but luckily there is a solution. Pokemon Pokopia is a cozy life sim game not unlike Nintendo’s own Animal Crossing. However, Pokopia has more structured goals for players to shoot for than many other games in the genre, with a variety of quests to complete.
In Pokopia‘s Withered Wasteland, one of the first main quests is to raise the humidity in the area by causing it to rain via Slowpoke’s yawn. This is done through a “Rain Dance Party” that requires players to collect certain items and put them next to each other. To prepare for Pokopia‘s Rain Dance Party, players need to get a plate, a fruit, and two Castform dolls. Place the plate on the ground, put the fruit on it, and then hang the Castform dolls on walls on both sides of the plate.

How to Finish Pokopia Rain Dance Party Quest
This is part of the Pokopia quest where players seem to be getting stuck, based on various posts on social media. It seems some Pokopia players think that they need to make Slowpoke start the Rain Dance Party, but that’s not the case. Instead, players have to go talk to Squirtle and lead him to the Rain Dance Party items. After Squirtle eats the fruit, the next step is talking to Slowpoke, and then the game should progress as normal.

For the most part, Pokopia objectives are fairly straightforward. The game shows players images of the Pokemon habitats they need to build to trigger spawns, and players can always go talk to Professor Tangrowth if they need a refresher on what exactly their current goal is. Players can also check the current requests they have from Pokemon through the pause menu in case they forget about what they are supposed to do next. However, there are occasionally some things with tricky wording or instances where players may not remember all the game mechanics they’ve been taught so far, and so it’s understandable that some Pokopia players will get stuck from time to time.
It takes an average of around 30 hours to get through Pokopia, though it’s unlikely players will get stuck on all that many quests during their adventure. Pokopia is simply stuffed with content, and there is likely even more on the way. There has already been the Pokopia Hoppip event, and chances are more limited-time events will come in the future, giving players even more to do in the game.
