A new update has been released for Splatoon 3, making several changes to the game’s weapons as well as adding a special tie-in promotion for those that have played Splatoon Raiders. Splatoon 3 was released on Nintendo Switch in 2022, and it remains the most recent numbered entry in the series. Splatoon Raiders made its debut as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive earlier in 2026, acting as something of a spin-off for the main series.
Splatoon 3 version 11.3.0 is now available, and Nintendo has offered full patch notes detailing what to expect. Splatoon 3 has crossover DLC from Splatoon Raiders, in the form of a new weapon called the Plastic Bottle Shot Replica. This item is exclusive to players that have save data from Splatoon Raiders, but the option is purely cosmetic; the item works the same as the Tentatek Splattershot. Additionally, players can expect lots of changes to the game’s existing weapons and special weapons.

Changes to Multiplayer

A new weapon, the Plastic-Bottle Shot Replica, has been added.
- It has the same weapon specifications as the Tentatek Splattershot.
- You can receive it from the lobby terminal if you have save data on the same system as the Nintendo Switch 2 software Splatoon Raiders, where the main story has been cleared.
- In order to receive it, you must start Splatoon 3 using the same user profile as the user for the Splatoon Raiders save data.

- After activation, players become invulnerable to damage approximately 1/6th of a second faster than before.
- Decreased the area of the damaging explosion area by approximately 9%.

Increased the distance traveled by the ink fists by approximately 9%.
- With this change, the area that deals 100 or more damage due to overlapping explosions is decreased.
Trizooka
- Increased the speed of shots by approximately 13% without changing the flight distance.
Ink Vac
- Decreased the amount of opponents’ ink that can be sucked up by approximately 9%.

As for the other main weapons, we have made changes with the goal of enhancing their unique characteristics or improving ease of use.
