Wonder includes a number of new enhancements and gameplay options, including more playable characters, and will also be bringing along three new collectible amiibo figures plus a fully-voiced displayable Talking Flower.

What’s New in Super Mario Bros. Wonder Nintendo Switch 2 Edition?
Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park adds more multiplayer courses and gameplay options. One of the two new plazas offers 17 courses for local multiplayer versus or co-op for up to 4 players on the same system or via GameShare. The second plaza supports local wireless and online play with users on separate systems, allowing up to 12 players to compete in 6 different attractions. A new Toad Brigade Training Camp will give players special challenge courses to beat either solo or in co-op mode, and additional boss courses featuring the 7 Koopalings will test players’ skills as they must track down each of the Koopalings to take back what they have stolen. The character lineup in Super Mario Bros. Wonder is also expanding, with the addition of Rosalina as a playable character and Luma as a Player-2 co-star option.
New Super Mario Bros. Wonder Amiibo
Along with the in-game updates coming with Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park, Nintendo also unveiled three new amiibo figures that will be releasing on March 26. The new figures include Elephant Mario, Captain Toad & Talking Flower, and Poplin & Prince Florian. All three amiibo can be used to get power-ups in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, making them equally helpful and adorable. While prices for the new Super Mario Bros. Wonder amiibo have not yet been revealed, audiences can likely expect similar pricing to previous amiibo releases.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder Talking Flower
Rounding out the new upcoming releases to celebrate Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park, the previously revealed Talking Flower from Super Mario Bros. Wonder will be launching on March 12. The collectible figure will spontaneously speak throughout the day, sharing “quips, words of encouragement, and more.” The Talking Flower is now available for pre-order on the official Nintendo shop and retails at $34.99.
