Developer CD Projekt Red has slightly increased the price of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt one month before the game’s anticipated remaster launches on all current-gen platforms. As one of the most acclaimed open-world games of all time, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt contains hundreds of hours of content for players to consume.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is Now Slightly Pricier Than Before
After surprising fans by revealing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered at Gamescom Opening Night Live, players who have not yet dived into the game will have to pay a slightly higher price now. CD Projekt Red has increased the price of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from $39.99 to $49.99 on all platforms as of this writing. Though the $10 price hike was not publicly announced by The Witcher 3‘s development team, it did not go unnoticed by players. The move was made one month ahead of the launch of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered, which will be available on Tuesday, September 29, as a free update for all players who have purchased The Witcher 3 at any point. The remaster will include graphical updates, reworks of the game’s menu and skill tree, and some gameplay balance changes.
