Amazon’s Big Spring Sale is underway, and there are numerous offers available on all manner of products. One nice deal you can grab right now is for PowerA’s Mario-themed Switch controllers.
The PowerA wireless Switch controller featuring a Mario design and red color is discounted now from $50 to $30, for a savings of 40%. Prime members can get free shipping within two days.
This is an officially licensed gamepad that works with the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, though it does not have the C button that launches video and voice chat with GameChat. These features are going to be put behind a paywall starting April 1.
The PowerA controller uses AA batteries, which are included. It does not, however, support HD rumble or support for NFC to connect Amiibo.
In other Nintendo news, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie comes to theaters on April 1, and if you live in Japan, you can eat some tasty-looking Mario-themed donuts. In the US, McDonald’s is rolling out a new Mario-themed Happy Meal on March 26.
