Grand Theft Auto 6 fans are starved for more information on the game, but the wait for Trailer 3, pre-orders, and more is nearly at an end. Rockstar Games first confirmed that it was developing Grand Theft Auto 6 years ago, but since then, updates on the game have been few and far between. To date, only two GTA 6 trailers have been released, and while both were record-breaking and incredibly exciting, it’s been mostly silence from Rockstar Games ever since.

The first GTA 6 trailer introduced fans to protagonist Lucia and showed off its new take on Vice City. The second GTA 6 trailer significantly expanded the game’s scope, detailing second playable character Jason and a variety of the side characters that players will interact with during the course of the game. There have been all kinds of theories about when GTA 6 Trailer 3 will drop, and while we don’t know the official date, we do know the general window that fans can most likely expect to see it.

Here’s When GTA 6 Trailer 3 Will Drop

Everyone is curious about when developer Rockstar Games and publisher Take-Two Interactive will release Grand Theft Auto 6 Trailer 3.

GTA 6 Marketing is Kicking Off This Summer

It was stated by GTA 6 publisher Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnick that marketing for the game will ramp up this summer. Summer 2026 officially starts on June 21 and ends on September 22, though “summer” can also be construed as June – August. Regardless, the takeaway is that there’s going to be a lot more revealed about GTA 6 within the next four months. That means the wait for GTA 6 Trailer 3 and pre-orders is almost over — barring an unexpected release date delay, of course.

Assuming GTA 6 is still planning to hit its November 19 release date, it’s inevitable that fans will see more of the game sooner rather than later. The GTA 6 trailers shown so far have largely been cinematic in nature, so fans can expect a proper gameplay presentation at some point, not to mention a look at its multiplayer component, which has been kept completely hidden so far.

The GTA Online mode for Grand Theft Auto 5 was one of the most commercially successful enterprises in the history of gaming, and so it’s a guarantee that GTA 6 will have an equivalent. Fans will no doubt be wondering what GTA 6‘s online mode will bring to the table, and so it’s likely that there will be a dedicated showcase for that alone. Between more single-player trailers, the multiplayer, and whatever else Rockstar has to share, there should be a lot of GTA 6 news to look forward to in the months ahead.

Hype is incredibly high for GTA 6, and considering Rockstar’s track record, chances are the game will stick the landing. Fans starved for more information on GTA 6 can continue analyzing the existing trailers for hidden details, but seeing more of the game in action may actually make the wait for launch day that much more agonizing. Regardless, unless a delay is announced, the summer of GTA 6 is about to kick off, and it should be an exciting few months, to say the least.
