The beloved classic children’s show, Thomas the Tank Engine, returns later this year in video game form with Thomas & Friends: Wonders of Sodor. The new game will let players explore a corner of Thomas the Tank Engine’s idyllic world from the conductor’s seat, piloting iconic characters like Thomas, Diesel, and more. Thomas & Friends: Wonders of Sodor will launch in physical and digital formats on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC sometime this year, though at the time of writing, no concrete release date has been announced. However, fans eager to get their hands on the game can preorder the physical Deluxe Edition for $50 at Amazon. This version is available for PS5 and Switch and includes a selection of exclusive bonus content.

Thomas and Friends: Wonders of Sodor Deluxe Edition is the only physical version of the game announced so far–but at just $50, its more affordable than more standard edition releases. It comes with the base game and a handful of extras. The full game data is included on the disc or cartridge, depending on which version you choose. Here’s what’s included:

Physical preorders are available for $50 at Amazon. Digital preorders are not yet live, but you can wishlist the game on Steam, PSN, and the Nintendo eShop.
Developed by Dovetail Games with support from Mattel, Thomas & Friends: Wonders of Sodor sees players taking on the roles of iconic characters like Thomas, Diesel, Gordon, Percy, and Emily as they explore the Island of Sodor. You’ll come across a breadth of familiar locations from the television show as you play through eight different scenarios, all of which are narrated by Mark Moraghan. Details on how gameplay will shake out are still minimal, but fans can likely expect cozy, quick jaunts around the island, with calming music and landscapes to enjoy.
