Xbox Game Pass subscribers already have nine games to look forward to in June 2026, thanks to previous release date announcements and in the case of a few games, official confirmation from Microsoft. Xbox Game Pass is in an interesting place. The service suffered significant backlash when the Ultimate tier price was jacked up to $29.99 last year, but it’s now back in the good graces of many gamers thanks to a price drop to $22.99.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate’s price drop didn’t come without some sacrifice, though. Unfortunately, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can no longer look forward to getting Call of Duty games on day one with their subscription. That means that the Infinity Ward-developed Call of Duty game scheduled for release in 2026 will need to be purchased outright by any Game Pass Ultimate subscribers that want to play it. Those that don’t care about Call of Duty are likely to feel that it’s worth the trade-off, but those that consider it a big selling point are likely disappointed.
Xbox Game Pass Is Losing Some of Its Best RPGs on May 31
Another handful of titles are set to leave Xbox Game Pass on May 31, with the upcoming departures including some of the best JRPGs on the service.
It will be interesting to see how the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber count is impacted by the price drop and the service losing Call of Duty. Regardless, Xbox knows it needs to keep subscribers engaged by adding new games on a regular basis, and in the spirit of that, nine games have already been confirmed for the June 2026 lineup. June 2 will see Final Fantasy 6 and Jurassic World Evolution 3 added alongside the PC version of The Elder Scrolls Online. Beastro and Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions will be added on June 11, while Denshattack! is joining Game Pass on June 17. Frog Sqwad, RV There Yet?, and Vapor World: Over The Mind are all coming to Game Pass in June as well, though specific release dates have not been announced just yet.

There are no huge, first-party Xbox games being added in June 2026 (so far), but there are some very interesting indies that should still make it an exciting month for subscribers. For example, Beastro is a fantasy game where players take on the role of a chef preparing meals for the adventurers, while Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions is an online co-op sci-fi exploration game. Denshattack! is a wild arcade game where players control a bus, utilizing a cel-shaded art style and looking like one of those quirky, experimental Dreamcast-era games.
RV There Yet? is a funny co-op game about driving around an RV with friends, while Frog Sqwad is a co-op puzzle-platformer for up to eight players. Clearly, those that need something new to play with friends will have plenty to choose from when it comes to June 2026 Xbox Game Pass games.
And then there’s Vapor World: Over The Mind. A narrative-driven game that mixes platforming and Soulslike mechanics, Vapor World: Over The Mind definitely looks promising, and could very well be the sleeper hit of the Game Pass June 2026 additions. A specific release date for Vapor World should be announced soon, along with a more comprehensive lineup of the June 2026 Game Pass games.
